there is more tutorials and tactics in solo mode you only learned the basic rules of how to play and not mechanics like fusion, ritual, syncro, xyz, pendulum and link.

I'm by NO means an expert, but I think Blue-Eyes is a good deck for beginners. Limited text, lots of monsters with built-in protections, huge stats. Can literally just slam your face into enemies and basically make it to Gold rank, provided you understand the deck well enough.

Only problem is they don't know how to build a good Blue-Eyes deck. People will use Protector and Maiden. Sage is the only good of Blue rn.

Eh, Maiden can be OK in certain situations. She combos well with Sage too, if you're trying to get some beaters on field. Blue-Eyes can definitely be upgraded and improved into being even better with the right cards though, so I'll admit to that 100%. Bystial cards come to mind as a quick effective upgrade.

@@BakaTanuki yeah, but there is this huge issue with Maiden saying "when this card is targeted." That means your opponent can chain Ash Blossom to Sage, and stop Maiden effect from activating. And Maiden isn't scary to deal with when it's your turn.

Yeah, that's why I said Blue-Eyes can get you to Gold, not Diamond or Master rank. 😅Haha... ugh... poor Yugi-Boomer archetypes/cards...

Tragically the tutorial is pretty bad for Master Duel... It could get a player ready for Goat format, but Modern Yugioh is a combo-based nightmare to slog through. The game can be fun with friends since you can both play with unoptimized decks and play like human beings instead of soulless robots following an optimized combo for the billionth time. Sorry about the more... vocal... aspects of the community and the horrendous power creep in Yugioh.

@@s1mperadicator13 idk how this showed up in my feed considering its a few months old by now and i havnt even watched it yet but looking at the comment sections already shows me some red flags considering the amount of criticism on his behavior/attitude and poor gameplay yet he only seem to bother responding and/or giving hearts out to the comments that sympathize with him or those negative to yugioh instead so all this really tells me is that hes probably doing this in bad faith

I agree that this game can be a bit boring playing agenst others, as it can take some time before you can do stuff. What I would recommend is to have a friend to play agenst, and maybe you and your friend can use a deck that isn't complicated to use. What I usually do is to create my own deck that may not be the strongest, but works with each other, and then see how it goes (though if you want to win and not get stopped as often, then I would recommend using strong/meta cards)

Your friend was so kind. What they were actually thinking was "Ew, no! Don't get me started on that! The people that play the game are terrible! They don't read or shower. Plus, the anime promotes cheating! Its not just antoganists! The main character cheats a lot! But it gets worse, he also destroyed the moon! I don't want to be associated with the community or the anime! Get back into Magic instead."

1:15:30 Potentially. Or they're simply a returning player. Everyone goes down a tier next season, and if you wait enough seasons, you will be at the bottom like every new player there. Because it's easy to get out of rookie tier, "smurfs" and returners are less common than one might expect. .......Also do the tutorial.

Dude, you proceeded to a ranked game (which is like a warzone) without even checking your deck or opening a solo game to test it, and you complain about not enjoying the game? Wow, you're really underestimating the game. Go back to MTG; YGO is too much for your brain to handle. Even in your second match, you were about to lose simply because you weren't reading the cards. You could've chained BALLISTA SQUAD with the card they activated to minimize the damage. The AI had to summon a zero-attack monster just for you to win the game, and you blame the game for not enjoying it? The issue lies with you; you were clearly misjudging this game. Geez.
