Magical Fairy Force was released by AtariAge a few years back and was a pretty big profile Homebrew for a console that doesn't receive too many. The fella's over at Video61 have been releasing new software for the console for years, but everybody else usually ports 8 bit stuff and calls it a day. So was Magical Fairy Force a shining example of what original content on the 5200 could and should be, or should people just stick to porting old 8 bit game? Lets find out!

We review all our games on a scale of 1 to 5 & here is what they mean:
5 is PERFECT! These are must own games for their consoles!
4 is Great! These games are worth playing and most people will like them
3 is Good. These games are worth trying but wont be for everybody
2 is Bad. These games might have a fan or two but aren't worth most peoples time and money...
1 is Garbage! Avoid these flaming piles at all costs!
We occasionally look at controllers and hardware and they are rated as Recommended, undecided, or not recommended. That should be self explanatory...

The Atari Network has 3 goals (besides entertainment) that I hope embodies everything the channel does:
1. Bring awareness to Atari, especially the often ignored Tramiel and 7800 era
2. Make sure the hardworking people both new and old (from the old guard at Atari corp to the new developers keeping Atari alive) get the recognition that they deserve for their hard work
3. Preserve the history of Atari in the video game hobby so that it survives long after us
