It's just that most women pledge utter allegiance to authority, and media. Men abhor authority, and media. Women must be trained to think for themselves, since their instinct is to always go with the group. This is what makes a good woman. When left to themselves, they all become crazy.

@@rstarr14 there's more that haven't considered. Women are totalizing protectors and nurturers. They are designed to give EVERYTHING to care for the emotional well being and protect those under their care. That's great if that's 1-5 small children as it should be, and there is a man who makes the executive decision of what the family can afford and then gives her an allowance to spend in its totality in service of those goals. But when they are a) allowed to make the financial decisions for entire nations, and b) have as their "children" the supposed "poor and downtrodden" of an entire nation, then they destroy the economy and deter grown adults from working or productively dealing with their emotional and mental problems. Women are not designed to rule. Read first Timothy 2 and see

Literally nobody is surprised that Matt Walsh has a typical boomer take on video games, but I'm sure SBI and their ilk appreciate that he's taken a lot of gamers' attention away from them, ironically by doing a five minute segment about SBI. Try to stay focused, guys. The real fight is hardly over.
@user-mw1mj8do1z

I catch some of Walsh's stuff but I missed this. For the most part, I avoid Daily Grifter content creators. Walsh is by far the best of the lot. Cooper might be ok for some but personally haven't caught anything of hers that's particularly good.
@birdup6663
@birdup6663 4 ай бұрын
@@user-mw1mj8do1z I listened to the segment. I think the attacks on Walsh are blowing his comments way out of proportion. He deserves to be clowned for his "gaming is for losers" attitude, because that shit doesn't help, but that wasn't even remotely the point of his segment.

It honestly comes off as them wanting the credit for being the ones to call this stuff out. Funny thing is they do similar stuff. I saw others calling out SBI before them. They waited till it got big to start talking about it all the time. These are a lot of the same guys that praised things like Spiderman and GOWR

Wow, a commentary with a brain behind it! Yes, anyone with a normal lQ understood what Matt was trying to say... the way Jeremy replied to Walsh on Twatter was pathetic, it was like if he was jealous that Walsh was "stealing his fight". A tweet that I saw explained that perfectly: "Radical feminists had the same reaction when Walsh talked about trans: 'This is our fight! We were here first! You are stealing our agency!' Don’t be like radical feminists. More people talking about this is good." To be triggered so much about "being a gamer" just proves that "gamers are childish". 🤷‍♂️

1:24:04 Garrett is completely wrong here. It's not just the AAA gaming sphere where the problem is. Companies like Baby Ghosts are actually designed to funnel grant money to small indie studios. In Canada it's actually partially government money for diversity initiatives, which is right on their website. But it comes with strings attached. In order to get this money to keep your indie studio afloat, what's your commitment to diversity? What is your team makeup, do you have outside HR support committed to diversity? Etc. They make them an offer they can't refuse, and promise them access and exposure in return, as long as the party line is pushed front and center.

I disagree. The crux of the issue is the same in gaming as in film and television; legacy properties being appropriated to push politics at the cost of character, story, and gameplay. These consulting companies take a fee to do the pushing and the backlash against them sends the message through the industry not to push politics if you want wide appeal. On the indie side, they can make all the internet gender commie games they want. Most of them will win awards and never sell well. I'm not sure how the common consumer approaches the problem of evil investment firms though...

Brilliant point Clifton made about seeing the world through the eyes of a child when you're playing a game. And how essential it is for creativity. Meanwhile "manchild" term always used as derogatory with a goal to make you feel like shit about yourself.

Honestly, i attempt to play every game as child-like as i can. The joy and discovery is something else. I have to force myself to not be a cynical adult that looks at everything under a microscope. Games like Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Stars really bring back a child-like love for gaming. Its weird that people would think being child-like is a bad thing.

I'm a fan of Matt Walsh and watch his show every day, but I certainly don't agree with *everything* he says, this being a prime example. You all hit the nail on the head 100% in explaining why. That being said, I would love to see a collaboration between FNT and TDW to clear the air and explain why the gaming industry IS culturally important right now and how it can be fixed.

An important point to make if we are going to use accurate language, we should stop using the word "liberals" to refer to either left, or communists. You can be a right wing liberal, liberal isn't either left or right, its a humanistic mindset, the exact opposite of what commies or fascists are (same shit really, but longer conversation), with smaller government and more individual rights. Commies/marxists infiltrated the US and EU left and ate it from the inside out, pretending to be liberals by appealing to them and then pushing them away. Marxists, commies, not liberals. Call things what they are.

I agree with the last statement. But I disagree about there being "right liberals". Though many dislike him, Ben Shapiro made a good distinction several years ago between "leftists" and liberals, and that he's not talking about liberals when he refers to leftists. Leftists hate liberals as much as people on the right, because they're capitalists. But liberals being to the right of leftists doesn't make them a part of the right. They're still left.
@typhvam5107
@typhvam5107 4 ай бұрын
@@Gutslinger Not necessarily... infact, most liberal movements are center-right outside of the US, its strong association with the left is mostly a US thing. Assuming you are American, thus your perspective is going to be coloured by it, where what you say is sort of true (mostly due to the trends, but not possibilities) Fair amount of your conservative presidents/politicians would fall into liberal definition btw. Is just that y'all mixed it all up compared to their original meanings, leading to this situation where its all so muddled its almost meaningless. like fascism. Edit: I think its because in the US y'all have allowed religious groups to inject their belief systems and priorities into politics, which has then altered the original precepts of those things. Liberalism can be summarized by being a political ideology that wants limited government, individual rights and freedoms, including freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and free markets. Funnily this is more inline with your republicans (idealized) than it is with your democrats.
@apocryphicdeath
@apocryphicdeath 4 ай бұрын
@@typhvam5107 The Founding Fathers were all Liberals. The Republican party is explicitly liberal in its foundation. The thinkers that spurred on the Enlightenment were Liberals, they founded the ideology. What do they all have in common? They're hated by the Left/marxists. The confusion has nothing to do with being American. The Leftist media around the world proudly self proclaim themselves to be the beacon of Liberalism while calling actual Liberals racists (how dare we think everyone should be treated as equals!). The Left is careful to control language, which is why they pervert terms like Liberalism, and everyone just lets them do it. They rolled out "Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity" (DIE) and immediately pivoted the acronym to DEI. The people on this very panel mocked them for it, but two years later everyone refers to it as DEI not DIE and conformed to the Left's rebranding. Neither the Europeans nor Limeys have done a thing to push back, because this bullshit originated in Europe, and almost consumed it at the start of the 20th century. Blaming confusion about the perversion of Liberalism on Americans is as pathetic as it is nonsensical. Your Parliament has played just as big a role in pushing Communism as any other government. When your Parliament comes out and decries the global Left for posing as Liberals *then* you can pass the buck.
@apocryphicdeath
@apocryphicdeath 4 ай бұрын
@@typhvam5107 I'm not typing all that out so I'm just going to say it isn't an American confusion. The media around the planet likes to tout itself as the beacon of Liberalism. It’s not the video itself that’s particularly inflammatory. It’s the bottled up, resentment from his past remarks and opinions on video games, gamers an anime and manga that is causing the overblown reaction. It’s kind of like a balloon, a small hole was made to allow some air to escape, but the pressure from the balloon itself forcibly tore that whole wide open.
