I was 12 years old when the original Frank Mills record was released, and I still love this melody today at 54. It has always represented pure joy and happiness seen through the eyes of a child. The teddy bear gig in this video just multiplies that same joy i still feel for this tune. I wrote a childrens' book that features a teddy bear with magic powers that Amazon published. if its still in print, I wold love to send you a copy, since you use a genre i'm known for and the story has magic that you are known for. Keep up the great music, and Music Box Dancer will forever be legendary thanks to you,sir!

This is such a childhood sentiment for me. My father had this on one of his LPs record. And then I found this up version. Well this indicate how good this song really was. Well... Truth be told, Dave was only acting that way because he was enjoying showing me up. He could tell I knew he plays those keys better than I can, and he was digging it in as much as he could. Though it kind of hurt my feelings, I ended up getting a better performance because of it! Then Buster is just as awesome as he can be. A man of few words, but once he got his hands on his new guitar ... well... let's just say I didn't know he could shred like that.

I like both versions even though they do sound quite different. In this version I would have prefered the choir to be a bit louder - it's hardly notable within the drums and guitar and piano. What I was missing here was the great facial expression you had in the 2014 version at the beginning when you looked surprised that "Music Box Dancer" played which was seemingly not what a drummer would expect. However you showed that this great song goes with every instrument. Well done!
