Carry and use Throwblasts for anything you can't reach. MA is completely busted; there's nothing it can't do. It's so much fun.

@Shakalaka Actually, they were probably talking about metal golems. Since MA's bow is pure magic, and the discs around the room are very magic resistant. It does nearly no damage. You know, that one disc that can only be reached by shooting it? That one's impossible to kill as MA

@@raphathekid Ranger is best, here's why: 1. Ranger has cooler abilities. 2. You can actually play the game normally as Ranger and get the best stats, whereas MA is bad unless you level all the way to 200 as mage/sorcerer. 3. Explosive arrows. 4. Tenfold looks super cool and there's nothing beats the perfect manual trajectory of your anime esque aimed shot skill. 5. Stamina, lots and lots of stamina for running. 6. Your best skill is not tied to having a companion and them dying, pretty edgy and cool but still, not as based as being a one man army.

@@icebox1954 I leveled as Sorcerer most of the time to get a sigfnificant magic boost, but honestly i think Magic Archer is hella stylish and extremelly fun to play with. Magic arrows effects are incredible, Magic Rebalancer x4 is a godsend, and every Magic Archer Bow skilld ha e utitlity for almost EVERY situation (i.e: Binefold bolt fo a concentrated shot, Ricochet Hunter for corridors and Explosive Volley to go BOOM literally >D) Also the suoer jump technique with instant reset that is more a gimmick, haha MA is my favorite job ever for good reasons, like OBLITERATING enemies >)

I mained it and just cleared bbi for the first time this week. My stats are a hot mess but everything died so whatever. MA kit has all five elements, physical and magickal damage, melee and ranged. It synergizes with wyrmking ring and the Gregori rewards, including forging the rusted weapons. It has access to both boosted jumping skills and can triple jump using Sunburst. It has giga damage for fights when you need a single moment of said giga damage. It's just super fun.

Mad respect, madam. I know this is your least favorite vocation and yet your love for this masterwork of a game is so great that you subjected yourself through so much mental pain for our sake and entertainment and I salute you. Magick Archer is too OP. More OP than the rest of the OP vocations and for that I love it for it allows me to do Bitterblack Island on Hard mode untouched! This is the vocation of choice whenever I don't feel like struggling and I need to farm Rift Crystals easily.

Thank you, but my least favourite vocation is actually Assassin. Magick Archer is my second least favourite. But I still love every vocation, I just strongly prefer some over others. MA is one of those classes I'm perfectly content playing for a video, but it's not my first choice when I'm playing for personal enjoyment. I will say it was nice to go back and revisit MA, as I haven't touched it in quite some time. My biggest issue with MA is that it's hell to edit with it. You kill things so quickly that it's very easy to use up all your available footage. It's the only vocation I have this issue with. Anyway, my next meme video is gonna be assassin lol

I've never played Magick Archer but it's my brothers favorite class and he thinks it technichally isn't as good as the others due to the stat growth, but I'm going to show him this to show he can wreck house while still playing his fave. Thank you for that.

Stat growth is overrated. 90% of your power comes from weapons, consumables and rings with a few exceptions (e.g. Ranger's gamble).

@@mandu6665 my levels go 60 in sorcerer and 50 in assassin. Everything else is bumped by equipment. Still able to run bbi with only a few thing explosive volley 6 fold shot and ricochet hunter. Still able to get through with no problems

Magick Archer is probably my most played, just because it makes the level 3 armour farming runs nice and simple, but I do just enjoy the hybrid vocations the best P.S. only come across your videos recently, and have binged them. Quality gameplay plus shitpost memes with unironically excellent editing is absolutely my jam. Might be the quickest I've gone from discovery to subscription

This video made me remember something. When I played Dragon's Dogma around the time it first came out, I was a Ranger on my first playthrough and when I got to the Cockatrice boss fight in the city (the one that flies away when you damage it enough AAAND I also didn't know that it was supposed to fly away as part of the plot or mechanic or something) I used the Ranger move called "Gambit" something (where you control the arrow for a short moment until it closes in) and I killed the Cockatrice as it was flying away even though it was pretty far but I was gonna try and see if I can kill it anyway and BOY did it feel good! It definitely felt like a scene you would see in most action movies! So now from this video I might re-download Dragon's Dogma to maybe try going for Magick Archer now since I didn't really play it much in the past, so I didn't know the full potential of it until I saw this video. Anyway, nice video.

Ah the good old dragon forging farm using explosive volley on cursed dragon's heart never goes out of style. Although I alternate between that and using backfire and those dagger's that have a fire enchantment and lower defense, finishing it off with a passive that increase's strength while you cling to enemies. PS: I'm currently playing the game again for the ps4, trying not to use bows of any kind. More challenging to be sure.

I tried magic archer. Went 10-200 as sorcerer them swapped and did not enjoy my time. Didn't deal damage and had to charge my casts. Oh well back to 10fold ekusplooooosions

Played mystic Knight for leveling to 115, but the game loot keeps giving me magic longbow I cannot give to my pawn because no hybrid classes allowed. One of the best armor drops granted 20 magic to archer, assassin, or mystic archer.... I might switch classes if only to finally get some revenge on Griffins for never landing for my party.

I actually just cheese Daimon with Hunter Bolt. All you have to do is place yourself under Daimons head and use hunter bolt and all 12 of them will just smack Daimon on the skull without fail.

Magic archer is OP, it's one of my favourite vocations because of this. Using Ricochet hunter in an enclosed space is so satisfying to watch. I laughed all the way through this video, it really brightened my night. Also thank you for making me appreciate the warrior vocation, more people should give it a go, embrace the bonk, they're quite a powerful vocation when used correctly, and it's fun to yell 'it's hammer time' when a fight starts. The skeleton disappearing through the roots was the part that made me laugh the most. Dragon's Dogma has some of the best random moments and sometimes bugs, rare and beautiful bugs.
