Excellent, just what I have been waiting for! I have this particular one and it's absolutely brilliant! You wont use anything else once you get your hands on this machine! You will love using this as much as I do, and I hope your viewers agree with me! I use it on a daily basis and I couldn't do without now!

Hi Amy, I've been using the Magimix since the mid 1970s. I have the 5200 and now the Cook expert. I love them. They are fantastic products. I still have my original one from the 70s and it's still slicing and chopping etc perfectly. The newer models have much bigger feed tubes though.

Being in the restaurant industry for 25 yrs. ROBO COUP is no joke! Those are total workhorses and this looks to be the same. See the torque when you pulsed it lol

Sounds like the Cuisinart. And it sounds like the breaking system on a Cuisinart you’ve got a nice one there I think.

I did notice after you mentioned it and replayed and looked closely that it did dim the lights! Talk about nice! A lot of power!

After using that expensive chop and dice Breville and the Cuisinart and this, if you picked just one or 2 of these 3, what would you choose. I am camping and brought my Ninja pro Food processor, by the way it’s not bad and I got it used rebuild and it was $59.00. But for the Kitchen is why I am asking. Thank You

Can't wait to see your full review of this, as I am in the market for a food processor and am deciding between this one and the Breville sous chef plus (12 cup)! :-)

Rachel Demeny Magimix do a bigger one. They do 3 4 and 5 five being the biggest. Don’t know in cups, I’m a Brit

Τhe best thing with Magimix is apart from the long motor warranty you can buy replacement parts for every model. They made the first food processor and it came in a pro and a home version. I bought the pro and I’m still using it and loving it. The only problem with it is the size. I always make pastry in a processor and I had to make it in two batches in the early one as it only takes 8ozs of flour although I have gone over that amount several times. It’s 45 years old and I’ve replaced the bowl and metal blade in recent years. I also have the 5200 but older than yours. I bought it also when it first came out so I could do larger quantities. My first Kenwood I bought all but 2 of the attachments, then a few years later I got a great offer on a new model and often had both going at the same time. Pre internet days a small cog in the motor went in first one and I was told it was no longer available so I left it at the service centre. I then found only the potato peeler and colander fit the newer model so I’d lost all my kitchen gadgets as well and my bean slicer/ pea popper wasn’t made for newer models. I hate stringing beans. Magimix have a site for just about every part from the first to the last and every attachment

That was a lot of awful vibration noise. So low quality nowdays on all plastic crap pumping out from all manufacturers.
