@E I'm sure she does. The camera definitely adds a bit of outside consideration when doing something but not nearly as much as knowing you're being watched by someone you don't know/trust. I am so paranoid that if I am doing something skill based and I hear laughing my brain's immediately like, "They're laughing at you. You're doing this wrong. You should just quit before you make a fool of yourself." and I start to spiral down that mental path. I know, rationally, that they are very likely not even paying attention to me, not laughing at me, or if they are laughing based on what I'm doing it's not meant derisively. Yet, my brain be dumb, yo. With a camera, especially when it's held by someone you trust, like Magnus who is not in it to be an asshole and mock you, you don't feel nearly as self-conscious. You can edit out the mistakes/stupid bits and focus only on the good stuff. Though, in this case, they seemed to be honest with her climbing and show her mistakes and successes. Which is great for anyone new to the sport to see. I just hope her natural talent doesn't undermine their own confidence. Some people just have a better understanding of balance and how to maneuver to counteract gravity. She seems like one of those people. Give this girl a training regimen that allows her to focus on climbing enough to make incremental improvements and she absolutely could be a boss at it. If that's the path she wants to go down. If not, I'm glad to see her enjoying something new.

I agree that having more beginner and intermediate climbers on the channel would be a good thing. I find some the most interesting boulders to watch are the ones that look as if they are within my range, or maybe a couple of grades higher. Sure, it's great to see big dynos that can only be done when you're capable of a fast pull-up, but I'm still months of exercise and diet away from making moves like that, so there's little I can learn.

I run my hands through my hair a lot while climbing. Chalk actually does have good hold and will keep your hair how you want it, but it also obviously dries out your hair. So don't use it as a hair product lol.

I'd easily go to Norway if Magnus would teach me to climb. I'm interested in learning. Only tried it three-four times. But magnus videos have inspired me to learn it. :)

She was very good, but she was also very fit...She obviously works out a good amount and she said she played soccer. Rock climbing is mostly grip strength, critical thinking, and ability to control your own body weight. She was good at the thinking and body weight, just needs a bit of work on her grip and she'd be amazing at this.

How can someone have this forearm-endurance, while never done climbing or any upper body strenght exercise before? I introduced a handful of persons to bouldering and none of them was able to climb that long on their first session. Not to mention the 6A grade. Marte definitely has some skills for that. I am looking forward to see her progressing.
