To be fair, it’s. As a biologist this video makes me so happy! To answer some of the questions: Sharks mainly live in saltwater, but a small group live their entire life in fresh water. Then others live some of their life in the ocean and some in rivers e.g. the bull shark, which often lives in fresh water as a youngster (as a safe heaven while you grow big). With the panthers it's hard to answer really. Panther just means black cat, so it depends greatly on the exact species. Most big cats will rarely charge if you look at them, because they are ambush predators e.g. very well known with tigers. But others like the leopard charge anything, because they rely on their strength. So if a big cat walks towards you, make sure it knows that you see it. The butterfly might have been a Monarch butterfly, definitely in the same family. The species live in America but fly so far that we sometimes see them in Europe (even here in Scandinavia). Also I absolutely love your videos and Marte is so cute.
@yanis955464 жыл бұрын
I think the panthers they have in the everglades are called Florida-panthers, they aren't black. Pretty sure they just look like ordinary cougars aka pumas or mountain lions, they don't grow as big as leopards or jaguars but can still occasionally get dangerous.. usually they're really shy though and you have to be really lucky to see one

I generally watch you (and now your lovely female friend) on my TV and don't have the ability to either comment or even give a thumbs up. Since I so look forward to seeing your, and your lovely young lady, Marte, videos, thought I really needed to use a medium, when YouTubing you guys, so I could periodically comment. I watch as I've loved the sport for a long time, and you just enhance that in such an enjoyable fashion. Your personal expertise blows me away, and in watching Marte, it's obvious you teach well also. Never climbed, as I got into the sport as a visual advocate - had a young running friend that had gotten into it - during my 25 years of intense, often competitive running, working and raising a family. Lived in the midwest and during that time NO climbing facilities at my fingertips, plus just didn't have the time. Now that's all out of my hands because of my age - am 82, bike, swim, play tennis, a little pickleball, and walk, all regularly, depending on weather for some of that of course. Also have 5 children, turned into 12 grands, turned into 15 greats, many still in mid-west. Busy, busy, busy, and your posts and vlogs are a pleasant respite. Hope you continue to entertain for a LONG time, and look forward to continuing to follow your "personal relationship" - think you have a real winner there, with probably the nicest smile and laugh I've seen and heard in a lovely young lady in a long time. You all take care, stay healthy, and be safe...

@cyruskhalvati4 жыл бұрын
Well they were pretty lucky that the momma gator was maybe only 6 ft and even luckier that she was so docile lol.
@acephantom9034 жыл бұрын
Yeah, mamma gator is probably so used to people that she wasn't concerned even though the babies were. The female gators are small but they can really mess you up if you mess with their babies. Alligators have the U nose and are the majority of what you will see in the park. The only place to see the crocodiles reliably is Flamingo the deepest place in the park accessible by road.
@killerlalu14 жыл бұрын
Right! And they may seem "docile" when they are sunning, but that's only because they are reserving and storing up their energy and have explosive power and speed if they feel they need to use it!!!
@acephantom9034 жыл бұрын
@@killerlalu1 yes, kinda. Most of the gators in the park are used to humans and will not react unless you touch them (illegal) at which point they would usually run. If they did explode at you it would usually be more of a lunge which is usually only 5 feet which is why the rule is stay 10 feet away. The main behavior difference between gators and crocs is that gators will not usually try to eat something that doesn't fit in their mouth while crocodiles will. That means humans aren't prey unless the gator has been fed before which they then associate human with food.. not necessarily that we are food but we have food and they will try to get it in any way. The crocodiles usually don't try to go after people but you have to be more cautious around them and take the 10 foot rule seriously.

Gators or are we talking about something else? They certainly can't run at 30mph.. around 20mph in water and 10mph on land, although for very short distances.

Wouldn't finding themselves mean that they both found enlightenment? Talking about the relationship, it would be finding each other.

After watching you for 3+ years with no interest in climbing I started climbing last week. I appreciate what you do.

Marte, you are my idol! I also met a climber like two years ago and am struggling with being a beginner in a more experienced community and you are SO GOOD! We mostly climb rope and lead, not boulders, but I learn technice from you
