The Ecoboost is a great car. I think everyone would agree the V8 sounds better and makes more power. Still the ecoboost has its place. Its sticker price is cheaper, It's a way more efficient daily driver and makes plenty of power for navigating to and from work. I had a V6 maxima before this car and the Ecoboost would kill it both in speed and milage. Great car but has its place. Not a GT for better and worse. I guess Eco drivers just need to realize it will never be on the same plane as the GT. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Depends on why you bought it! These exhaust systems still make it sound foreign like a Celica.

Kevin D That is true but i know most ecoboost owners aren't looking for the V8 growl a gt has. As a ecoboost owner myself, the only 3 exhausts that sound good are the Borla atak, Flowmaster outlaw (which I have) and the mbrp race exhaust.

I got my 2018 ecoboost December of 2019. I’ve ALWAYS been in love w the Mustang as a kid and always wanted one since the first time I ever been to a car dealership and seen it lmao. So I got an ecoboost, and yeah it’s a bit sad she doesn’t sound so loud stock LMAO I baby my ecoboost too much 😔 But I love it, and I’m happy w it. I have a little project I wanna do for myself like changing the gear shift knob even if it’s an automatic bc I simply feel like it. I wanna get a decal wrap, add a reg wing/spoiler, nothing big tho, smth similar to the GT wing, and I wanna get a new exhaust system. Ik it won’t sound as loud or deep but if there’s anything to make it sound like that it have crackles, help a girl out lmao. I might do a resonator delete first, some ppl said to get a 3” Catback but idk yet.

Personally speaking, I think MagnaFlow makes the best sounding exhausts. Really like the tone of what they offer, and this is no exception. This one is exactly as you guys mentioned, a nice smooth deep sound. And as much as I hate those bloody staples, at least they keep our parts well secure and they make it easy to tell if anyone had been tampering with the package.

KZbin the one with best lexus is250 exhaust sound. It is magnaflow should be sounding nice on ur ecoboost. Cuz the lexus is 2.5lv6 only 200hp+ .

Look for a set up that fits all aspects of driving, with future mods in mind. I was stuck with my mustang, but I ultimately planned to go with Flowmaster. It has a nice deep tone and I can upgrade the mid exhaust section for when I get a supercharger. Tone ultimately comes down to personal preference, so try to make the decision yourself so you don't regret anything.

If you want to get a Ecoboost Remember this is to Save you Money. And it will never Sound like a GT V8 because if that's what you are looking for to Buy a Ecoboost to sound like a V8 it will not sound anything like a V8. Just buy a V8 and save you the trouble.

Can't believe Ford did this to the Mustang. The ecoboost sounds like azz and this mod did not help any. Take a little less hp and mpg and get the 6. There are some aftermarket setups that sound good for the 6.

Should've left it stock, now it sounds just like every kid with a shiny garbage can fart can hanging under the bumper almost dragging the ground. I would buy Magnaflow's system, throw their mufflers in the garbage and bolt in a pair of stainless Flowmasters (ONLY if I had a 5.0) ... then you would have a great sounding exhaust stainless front to back. The sound of this car is why I left my 3.6 Charger exhaust STOCK ... don't waste your cash unless you have the real deal worthy of exhaust like a V-8.

Lubo Mesaros My mustang ecoboost is a beast and officially faster then the new GT and it sounds much better then the stock eco. Got upgraded donwpipe, cold air intake, straight pipes, catless exhaust, intercooler and a precision 5862 turbo upgrade kit. The bigger turbo is much better then the stock. I recommend the bigger turbo for any mustang owner with the ecoboost for it to reach full potential and run at it's best. Also have videos up on my page.
