Out of Quicksilver and Scarlet witch I think Lorna has more aggressive Daddy Issues when it comes to magneto and being lackluster towards His Children

Could you imagine how they'd have turned out if he'd taken the time to raise them? But I understand why he didn't, even if he'd known of their existences early on. He'd tried to just have a normal, happy life. And as a reward, the scared and bigoted townspeople killed Anya, his first daughter (the twins' and Lorna's oldest sister) and that's when Magneto decided to start building his terrorist identity. And you can't really have small children with you if you're planning on painting a target on your back that big.

All of Magneto's children have mental issues. Wanda struggles with depression and dissociative identity disorder. Quicksilver has ADHD and narcissism due to his speed reality its hard for him to be patient because time passes differently for him and in his head he has played out every scenario and outcome so he comes off as bored, manipulative and cocky. Polaris of course has bi-polar but it seems Magneto has a soft spot for her and treats her very delicately. In Wolverine and the X-men he coddles her and leaves her out of the drama. In the Gifted he pretty much leaves her out of the mutant war and Brotherhood.

You did a great work with Polaris , just like Wanda and Pietro she had such a complicated back story to who she really was or pretended to be… and her relation to Alex is one of the nicest one , I always see them as a couple in my mind. She is a great character with great potential who is not always put in spotlight but deserves to be. Great job and video as usual.

Get well soon! Just curious. You ever consider drawing some sort of line in the sand for how up-to-date to bring your character profiles? I absolutely love your videos on characters who aren't exactly 'A' tier. It seems like there's a point in time around the House of X where you usually cut it short (not all the time.) I get the impression that the complete chaos in the X-Men comics alone would require hours long explanations just to add sufficient context for stuff like House of M. When you consider stories like Messiah War/Complex all the way to the Swords stories it really seems like there's just no way to do any character justice these days. A fully updated Apocalypse character now would be a nightmare and chock full of back and forths. Same with Mr. Sinister. Two of my favorite villains just totally retconned into oblivion. Not to mention Wolverine and his whole FAMILY at this point...

I thank you for untying the many knots of retcons that is Polaris' parentage. She is one of my favorite X-Men. Must be the green hair. I have always loved her Shi'Ar costume. It had such Dr Strange vibes to it. For me, a Havoc video next would be nice. Then a return to finish Lorna's story. Then probably a return to Alex's story. But my suggestion for a future video is the Alpha Flight member, SASQUATCH. As always, MAKE MINE THE MERRY MARVELITE!!!!

Polaris is one of a kind. She is a very powerful person who doesn't use her power to an extent. Her power has no limitation and probably is more powerful than Magneto. She can be very scary when getting angry. Polaris should one day lead the Acolytes and have Unuscione be her right hand. So much potential writers can do with Polaris. Gerry and Cullen are the best in writing her.
