This is very similar to Velen’s sacrifice cinematic from WoD: the dark corruptor succeeds in his mission, teleports away and then there is a moment of disbelief until the father figure decides to sacrifice himself in an explosion of light to redeem the corrupted thing

I still remember his Battleshout back then in WoW Vanilla, when i was one time present in his Throne Room - and a Horde Rogue for some Reason was there and aggro'ed Magni. He only shouted with a deep Voice : *FOR. IFONFORGE.* and clobbered the poor (lol) Forsaken Rogue with Two or Three Hits i think. I never saw Magni move again for Years after that. And suddenly - in Cataclysm he turned into this shocked looking Diamond Statue and i was sad, thinking we lost that cool Character forever. After we had already lost Bolvar before. 🙁 I was *SO. GLAD.* when Magni began to run around before Legion or during Legion or so - and Blizzard gave me one of the few, heartwarming Surprises of not casting aside a great Character.

TBF, Dagran wasn't born yet at the beginning of Azeroth, so he is a young adult in human terms but he is a dwarf, around the age of 20, which at least for dnd terms maturity is the age of 40.

Something like... 15 years. Vanilla starts with a 10 years old Anduin. Anduin Is 19 in Legion. In TWW, he Is implied to be in his late twenties.

So if we assume every expansion starts a new year in lore, now is the year 41. Which would indeed make Dagran II. 15-16 years old now. :)
