Just spent 4 days at Glacier and surrounding area. Folks I'm here to tell you. It's a must see!! All of NW Montana for that matter. Most beautiful place I have ever seen. Pictures don't do it justice. Mountain ranges and lakes are absolutely stunning !

I did a twelve day backpacking trip there in 2007 and absolutely fell in love with the place. I've been to some lovely places but there is something very special about Glacier. I've been there two more times since then and hope to go back again soon.

A Magnificent display of America's Beauty.... No matter how many times I've seen this American Treasure I've always come away in total Awe of Nature's Beauty @ it's very Best.... Going to the Sun Highway takes you over to the Canadian Side of Glacier National Park which is called Waterton National Park. of Canada.... Seeing this just once will give you an idea of Why Canada & America share so much together.... The only other place in the World that I would ever think of living outside of America is Western Canada.... Sheer Beauty .. The city at the base of this National Park is Kalispel Montana.... Bob Fox

We have been to 17 National Parks so far. This stands out as my favorite although my wife leans towards Zion. We'd like to go back some day as Highline trail was closed during our visit.

GNP has been my top national park destination since i was a boy. Sad to think all the glaciers in the park will be gone (if they aren’t already) in about 10 years. Besides the kloss of the glaciers, continued warmer temperatures in the Winter have allowed beetles that bore into the pine trees, and have killed off millions of evergreens…now, all you see in many sections of GNP is hundreds of acres of brown dead and dying pine trees. Too bad American’s don’t realize what they have, as it will soon be lost due to global warming.

Disappointed in this film. It must be old. Some of the videos put out by private citizens shows the majesty of the mountains much better. I did enjoy the wildlife segments though.

To me, Glacier is rather fugly. I spose if you like sculpted mountains with unlimited cascades and waterfalls, wild flowers, crap loads of wildlife, and peace of mind, then ya... it's alright... but honestly, i'd rather spend my days sitting on a milk crate staring at a beautiful white wall with a couple of well placed electrical outlets. I'm different that way I guess.

Are you crazy?! Electrical outlets are dangerous!! You’d be safer sitting in your car with moose or buffalo walking past in view of a glacier about to calve onto the road! Whew! That was close! Good thing I read your comment just in time to warn you. Besides milk crates leave a weird criss cross pattern on your butt if you sit to long lol. You’re welcome lol

Hahahah Right ? 😂. I have to cringe though at the word “ spose “. Bc ewe 😂... anyway , that’s what ppl must think .. they do everything to block out the beautiful world around them , being dependent on all these devices and distractions that desensitize them and remove them further from reality , the ability to use self thinking and the ability to Utilize God given intuition and innate instincts and discernment , while they just immerse themselves into all the bs technology and distractions like the internet / freaking social media, all the Hollywood bs / the crap in the “‘music “‘industry, fashion industry and whatever the media throws at them and forces down their throats to accept or tolerate and ppl do nothing that’s actually worthy and decent , but yet they just keep putting their trust into the hands of bad examples and they just seek to mimic every stupid autonomous drone like trend , trying to come off as edgy and relevant , etc. yet they couldn’t be self sufficient/‘reliant / sustaining to save their lives bc they can’t take their focus off these distractions that only seek to remove ppl from reality. It’s sad .. ppl don’t know what they’re missing ... yet , some ppl lock themselves away into the confines of modernity , yet what do they end up doing ? Seeking out nature and the beauty of wildlife and the natural world by what ? Using their technological devices to view these things ? Some ppl will ride their exercise equipment where they’re able to virtually traverse diff landscapes.. and ppl constantly respond to beautiful images of nature as screen savers / home- lock screens etc. and seek out the very sounds of nature to listen to , yet they don’t get that they’re further and further departed from the life they were created to know and live .. ppl have disrupted the balance of nature with all the artificial light and distractions and it affects the wildlife too , among any diurnal species especially .. they have to take melatonin to regulate their system , yet they’d have it abundantly if they cared to Ovid a healthy functional life that doesn’t consist of just sitting in whatever room staring at some stupid little rectangular device all dang day and night.
