Hurrem Never Betrayed Me " SULTAN SULEIMAN GOES MAD "
Magnificent Century Watch Episode 130 👉 • Magnificent Century Ep...
Hürrem gets prepared for a bloody play!
As the time passing makes Suleiman feel more lonely, Hürrem gets in search of revenge with her sharpened rage. In the meantime, Rüstem has become the Grand Vizier thanks to the power he gets from Hürrem and Mihrimah and the politics he played. He gets prepared for a bloody play with Hürrem.
High winds between Selim and Bayezid...
The princes gather in the capital for Cihangir's sword girding ceremony. High winds bluster among the brothers who come together after years, especially between Selim and Bayezid. The fact that Mustafa has been welcomed effusively by the janissaries resonates with the palace. Rüstem doesn't hesitate to use this against the prince.
Meanwhile, a Venetian odalisque who has been presented as a gift to the palace draws attention with her beauty. This woman will change not only hers but also the destiny of the royal family.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

"So this is the reason of all the slaughter. Ibrahim. Hatice. Mustafa. Chiangir" What about Mehmet, Fatma; His death is just as important. He was an inoccent person. As for those mentioned above. Ibrahim brought everything he got on himself by his arrogance, greed and ambition. Hatice...she brought her own downfall because she couldn't let go of the past and see that she can have a future. Mustafa...he might have been difficult to get along with sometimes, but he was a fine lad and he would have made a great sultan. Certainly better than Selim. But he forgot one very iportant lesson: that Suleiman is his sultan first. Father second

I agree with everything in your reply but I beg to differ in your analysis of Mustapha and Selim ll. Don't forget Selim was the most experienced of ALL Ottoman shehazades, trained by the best Ottoman sultan. He didn't physically lead in any war but his plan and administration was superb. He reigned for eight year, compare his legacy with others. Mustapha had zero training and loads of IOU to loads of people.

He did finally realise that Fatima was a real witch!! Telling Suleiman "that Hurrem deserved everything that came to her, and only Hurrem burning in hell would redeem her." That really started to piss off Suleiman, that is why Suleiman told Fatima "that he knew that Hurrem was no angel, but she had the one thing none of you every had, loyalty, absolute loyalty!" He the kicked her out of the palace permanently.

So did hurrem, when Suleiman asked her if she had any hand in killing of Mustafa, yes or no, she neither said yes nor no, instead she went on how magnificent sultan Suleiman is, how everything in the world belongs to him, how their breaths are because of his mercy, she even went on saying that leaves cannot fall off the trees if he doesn't want it and described herself as his mere shadow who wants whatever Suleiman wants but if he's looking for innocense then it's nowhere to be found in palace. She also manipulated Suleiman with words and tried to imply that whatever happened is because of his will as he's the controller and all of them are his subjects and even if she did something, she should not be blamed for it as she just acted on what Suleiman wanted.

@@adelkaizbest2038 yeah but I'm not speaking in context of history, I'm just judging each character the way it was portrayed in the series and even if we do take a look at history, it's highly indicated that hurrem did had a hand in execution of Mustafa while mahidevran had nothing to do with Mehmet's death(unlike it's showed in the drama). What I don't like about hurrem is that she always manipulated Suleiman with her cunning words and never admitted to anything she did behind his back, she always wanted his happiness connected through her and her children, not by other members of his family and was successfully able to apart him from all other people he loved before her and left Suleiman with nobody but her. And portrayed herself as the only person loyal to him. No one was innocent but at least they were stuck to their actions and never denied nor tried to justify their acts falsely

He was a threat to Suleiman's power so he had to go...this was not something Hurrem decided or anyone else for Suleiman to put the blame on. She was no angel but Suleiman can't blame her if she wanted what he wanted too. She said flat out that he needs to stop looking for innocents in that palace because a system that is based on power for survival ensures there aren't any. She just didn't tell him the truth YOU wanted...but again Suleiman IS the Sultan so why should she she allow him to scapegoat her for his decisions as the Sultan or father ?

All this years later and for some reason *all* of Suleiman's sisters were totally happy to disregard all of Ibrahim's scuzzy, ambitious behavior and act like his execution was some cold-blooded murder. Mustafa I understand having some rage about; without Mahidevran and Ibrahim raising him to blame all of his childhood misfortune (read; his MOTHER's misfortunes) on Hurrem. Hatice killed herself after being insane for years, and Cihangir effectively did the same by refusing his medication in his grief (and let's not forget Fatma openly stated his death was somehow penance for Mustafa's! Like, she obviously had contempt for all of Hurrem's children and saw them as disposable and then had the gall to cry at his funeral).

What people don't understand is that before Hurrem and Sulieman, the Sultans had always had favorites or special women. Suleiman's mother was the favored consort of his father Selim. But no one had ever had a wife as Sultan, certainly not a wife so favored or loved as Hurrem. It made his entire family question his judgement many times. It made Hurrem the victim many times on the show. In real life she did have people that didn't like her but it wasn't this dramatic lol. The first people to ever do something, or commit an act no one understands, will always be maligned or questioned for their judgement. People love to judge, make snide and hateful comments when they don't understand something.

Let's face the truth! Suleyman was very afraid of Mustafa because he was more loved by the army and the population. He was afraid that at any time Mustafa could gather an army and overthrow him. A word from Mustafa was enough. Suleyman condemned Mustafa to death out of envy and jealousy. Indeed, Hurem and Rustem contributed to such a thing. Let's imagine that Hurem would have managed to kill Mustafa. And Mehmed her son would have reached the throne. What do you think would have happened? Sooner or later Mehmed would have sentenced all his brothers to death. Mehmed would have had an ambitious wife who was eager for power. This is exactly what happened between Selim and Bayazid. Selim has Nurbanu who was as ambitious as Hurem.

Because this a drama TV show , there needs to be drama not much facts. There is data of people harming Hurram and thinking she was a witch because he made her his wife. But there is also evidence that his mother got along well with Hurram. The fall of his son was more in fault with his own mother and others trying to bring him to power early. The system that was built made them all sociopaths. The idea of marriage to one woman was wrong. Killing a second born son was okay so he could not raise to power. Kidnapping teen girls, making them slaves and brainwashing them into believing prostitution was a great opportunity was normal and legal. Kidnapping little boys and cutting off their male parts so they could serve in the haram was normal and legal. In 600 years of power think about how many were killed, raped, mutilated, robbed of their lands and belongings while claiming 🤮to be the servants of God. Evil wear’s beautiful clothes to lure you into temptation. Kings and Queens wear the most beautiful clothes and they do the most evil.

It is obvious that in this story, it would be unfair if we blame someone more than onother ( ex Mahidevran and Hurrem). All they did mistakes and crimes and all they found the suitable punishment. Mihrimah was punished by losing her mother, her husband, her siblings and I am sure that she understood in the end that the things wouldn't be worse if Mustafa would acsend the throne. Selim was sentenced to live in regrets. Suleiman lost Hurrem in the end and he died away from his children. Hurrem and Mahivevran also received their punishment but the God felt sorry for their. For example Hurrem lost Chihangir but she died and she didn't see the death of Beyazed or Selim because it is obvious that if not Suleiman did not kill him when someone of her children would ascend the throne he would kill the other one. In the end, Mahidevran lost his son and his grandson but God make her the best favour. Thanks to him she wasn't part of the Suleiman's family and she understood that Suleiman was never in loved with her. Thanks to God she understood the true.

Mustafa died because of the ambition and greed he had thanks to his mother constantly filling his head with delusions of grandeur and power. Suleiman knew Hurrem was no saint, he knew that she had to do things to survive in the harem. What separates her from the others is that she never schemed to harm Suleiman or to kill him so her own son can be Sultan and she becomes Valide Sultana. His own sisters supported his wayward son and plot against him for power so they could push Hurrem far away from the empire or just to kill her. Hurrem even made it clear that she doesn’t want the title of Valide Sultana, because that would mean her husband and king would be gone. She preferred to not outlive Suleiman and only did everything to protect her children and ensure that once her and Suleiman croaked, they would be well cared for and in power

You're so right in your analysis of the show. Hureem had a survivor instinct of a mother and wife. She knew that if she got her priorities right, everything big and small would fall into place for her Suleyman and her children. That's the difference between her and everybody in the palace and that's how she won against them ... she focused in her dealings with her enemies. She's never afraid of admitting her own wrong doings and never blamed anyone for her own shortcomings and evil deeds as well as accepting the consequences. She knew she's not an angel and brave to do what it took to survive to protect Suleyman and her children. And she concentrated on bringing up her children appropriately as princes and princess respecting their father, the ultimate ruler of the Ottoman empire ....
