@@ibnebatuta4868 Murad was a great sultan ok? He just suffered from trauma, life is hard imagine how hard was life years ago. He saw his own brother the padishah being treated like a slave at rebellion when people were making a fool outta him and gave him the most painful death. He swore no one will ever treat the padishah like that, which he became, he was brave but his trauma got in the way making him ruthless.

@@emushi8394Trauma doesn’t justify violent & cruel behavior. A lot of violent criminals act out due to trauma, does that mean we should pardon their crimes then? Murad needed a healthy way to deal with his trauma. No matter who else contributed to his bad behavior ultimately he himself is responsible. Ironically Murad himself inflicted the same trauma of fear & betrayal onto his brother Ibrahim which also turned him into a weak tyrant. The circle of generational trauma, it doesn’t break until someone in that chain stands up & refuses to let their pain twist them.
