Try a combo of Dave and SoFi. Dave has a completely automated budget feature. and it can tie to another bank you don't have to use their debit card.

I tried One for a pay period and the next i tried Envel. Umm besides the interest accounts, i personally like Envel. They have the same pockets type feature but Envel automatically places money in your envelopes on payday with the AI feature or you can do it manually. Also with One you can select what pocket you want your card connected to but I have forgotten until i use it and it comes out of another pocket. With Envel it only stays on that chosen pocket for 15 min then automatically goes back to the cash pocket. Envel is quicker to use than One with transferring money between envelopes. But Envel doesn’t have an iPad app or online access yet. I just got the Sofi credit card so I’m thinking about using Envel for expenses/bills and Sofi for everyday purchases until more features come along with One and Envel. I don’t think I’m going to find everything i want in one bank as i did in simple.

Thanks for the video. Since the banks have changed some, and I'm wondering how One compares now to Ally, Envel, Digital Federal Credits Union, and Varo. That's a good handful of banks lol but I'm just curious how these stack up together and look here in 2022.

@@mike-uw6wt As I stated earlier. Getting your paycheck a couple of days earlier it very compelling and I stand by that. I have a some friends and family who switched because of that feature. I don’t understand how getting paid early on a completely free checking account with many other great features is not compelling when all other big banks are bent on screwing people over with bull fees.

Another great feature with Sofi is the access to a real live free CFP’s if you are serious about saving and building wealth. Then this free service is a game changer. Get in before it is no longer. One thing that 'ticks me off' about banks, and even credit unions, is they get so much more than the interest they offer. I'm one that would rather be transferred to someone else than to potentially get a wrong answer or even not have reached someone that can help with my inquiry. If the person is new and doesn't know much yet then I'd also prefer to be transferred or that person find out from a higher up before giving me an answer. (I've answered calls when I worked at a grocery store and I also had an inbound telemarketing job.)

My problem with the One Financial pockets is I don't use my debit card, basically at all. I only keep it on hand in case I need to withdraw from an ATM. I use credit cards for everything and just pay it off each week. So the pocket idea I don't think would work. I've stuck with Sofi cause of that. Good video
