Magnus Fidget Slider review (Toad)

A review of the Magnus Toad fidget slider. I also discuss different types of low friction tapes and how to use them. They'll sometimes go by the name of haptic slider. If you are going to use painters tape, only use it on one side with PTFE or UHMW on the other side.
The tape used on both plates of my slider is PTFE glass cloth tape.

I stopped using tape and the pinching stopped! Just a recommendation. Awesome review! Very informative!

Thanks for your nice review.. i bought the UHMW tape. imported it from amazon US to The Netherlands hahah.. could have bought the PTFE instead from amazon The Netherlands would have bin a better option. Still i wanted to experience both for my self.. i don't have a magnus slider yet but i'm looking / thinking of getting the 3-click toad from him i would have preferred the robo to be honest but hearing you and others talk about the toad i'm starting to come around. How do you put the tape on? And how did jou make the green pice of tape?

Are they offering sleeve or sheat to protect the slider? I would be afraid to scratch it !

Depends, the outside is titanium. It's pretty tough. I think it would be okay in a pocket or bag. The sliding plates are now being made out of teflon. They won't scratch up like the zirconium did. But, to answer your question, no they don't come with anything to protect it.
