I realize it's a pedantic point, but just because a skill may be impossible for many people to obtain doesn't mean it's not a skill all the same. Circlejerking over who is the most "intelligent" is boring because intelligence is abstract and hard to understand clearly, whereas skill is much easier to view. Of course, Magnus is obviously a Genius, and nearly all grandmasters are highly intelligent.

That's a terrible move for white and opens a trap. Magnus could then move his bishop to G5. It would be check and it could not be blocked because Magnus would take it there on e7. Qxg3 is better because it comes with check and is forcing mate in 3. With Rxf2, the king doesnt need to Kxf2 and white has moves like g4 to delay defeat.
