That Fw190 at the start definetely bailed. I'm getting sick and tired of people doing that to deny kills.

Maybe they'll penalize players for doing that without good reason. That, or maybe give the kill reward to the last player to have shot at them. If no shots were fired, then the nearest enemy player to them when they bail will get the kill. It'll at least ensure that somebody didn't chase after a bailer in vain.

I do agree with your second solution. However, I object the first one or the moment. The problem here is bad internet connection. Some people, like me, have unstable connection. I drop out of a game every once in a while because my internet stops working. If this is penalized, players like me are punished even more then we already are. If there would be a way to prevent this, I would embrace penalty's. untill then,I'll object it.

daan stokvis DCed player aircraft could just get under ai control, with player being able to get back to it once reconnected is I think only option where players couldn't cheese DCing not to get killed.

I do love the Boomerang when I fly her out, and I'd dare say it's almost easier to fight with these 109s in a situation like this...Japanese on the other hand, well, that maneuverability advantage dries up awfully quick!

I love Boomerang, such a litte nimble thing. Very often underestimated, enemies are often suprised how easily Boomerang can get on thier tail just for that one second to fire a deadly burst :D

The 190 just ejected, as clearly visible from his pilots parachute open. It wouldn't bail unless the plane was damaged beyond rescue or he bailed out himself. He had his flaps up whilst doing it, he bailed out and the plane went into a dive and broke his flaps. They do it, and to some extent I do it too, because they've probably had a bad bunch of games and don't wanna hand you over a kill, So they kill themselves.

Dang, you got really lucky that two of the three BV's crashed. I wished that happened more in my games. Those things single handily win most matches for Germany. One BV tends to kill more fighters than the enemy fighters combined, and if you don't kill them quickly, they can easily bomb out all your bases and runway.

that FW which J´d out there, that´s quite common actually. I have xperienced this quite often allready. Players arm grundtargets, or just fly around in dogfights, and as soon as you are about to kill them, they j out. i experienced this very often and on a regular basis.

I actually did a fairly good evasive fight recently. Spit mk 2b vs an LA-5, LaGG-3, and P-39. Comes to show you evasive flying is all about what you do with your aircraft. I won even though a teammate got the LaGG and the LA got him.

how do you fight high tier spitfires as germans (e.g. FW190D-12 vs Spitfire Mk.22/24 , etc.) ? i'd say i'm quite the good pilot but it's SUCH a struggle to even stay on par with these spacefires. usually, after 5-7minutes of sideclimbing i still end up below them and spend the next 15 minutes struggling to stay alive hoping for a mistake, any tips?

Phillip Rodriguez lol i actually love those situations: first of all, determine your opponent= what kind of fighter is it? fast and sluggish? or slow and nimble? if the fighter is or wil be faster than you, use your superior roll rate to make him overshoot while lowering your throttle. if he will not be able to catch you just fly away, making SMALL movements if he fires at you, 'cause you don't want to lose precious energy. did i miss anything? any more questions?

Fly out the P-38LO, it's an incredibly dodgy aircraft worth showing its potential. Only you can point it out with valuable points and education along the way.

Magz, i think you should try out the later model P-38 both the J and L, its not so much a request more of a recommendation they are aircraft that can very much surprise both the enemy and the pilot behind the stick

Magz. What is your opinion on the use of negative Gs as a evasive maneuver in WT? It has in tandem with the Damage model change (tail-control is more resistant now) made getting on a enemies six at medium to high speeds downright nonviable, as planes such as the P-47 can tank hits to the fuselage in the shortened time on target the dolphining (going up and down) does. BTW. I have made it kinda work with the Firebrandt.

I have noticed less tail-control kills lately and given that Gaijin is bad at putting all their changes in the changelogg, I can only assume that is the case as I spray away at the tail of a P-47 N without any results.

oh please god yes. Tail control was the stupidest damage model nerf. "Oh a single 7.7 hit the tail. well time to die" (maybe not a signle. But I did drop a brand new off the runway P38G, with 30 rounds total, mixed between 7.7 and 12.7 from the Ki-61. Shots striking across the wing and 1 tail boom... cause you know, there's not 2 sets of controls or anything on the P38s.

chances are they just came out of a dive so you could try to make them overshoot or try to extend enough that they lose energy to keep up with you.

Magz, I'm curious how much of your opponents' misplays were due to this being a Boomerang. Two things: 1. Did your opponents attack you because it was a premium aircraft? Sort of along the lines of "kill the youtuber", I know some players play "kill the premium", even if that means they get tunnel-visioned. 2. Did your opponents simply not know how to attack a Boomerang, given how rare they are in actual play? Simply put -- do you think the match would've gone the same if you had been in a Spitfire Mk. IIb?

My opponents attacked more because the Boomerang is often seen as easy prey, It's an aircraft that is known to be tiered higher than it should be and was clearly the lowest BR aircraft in that match. Who doesn't like an easy kill? Should I have been in a Spitfire IIb, Well firstly I would have been in a match 0.3 higher than should be possible but beyond that things would have gone better. The Spitfires climb rate is more comparable to the F-4 and while it's less durable than the Boomerang, Durability only matters when you are getting shot. The increased turn performance would have made the Spit even harder to hit and as I only used around 500 rounds of ammo that wouldn't have mattered so much either although it is possible ammo may have become an issue due to more opportunities to engage targets.

Maybe the boomerang is at a higher BR than the IIb because it has mk II hispanos like the spit Vb which is also at 3.3. It isn't the first time firepower has effected an aircraft's BR. Also, how's PAX been going? What has meeting your online friends in person for the first time been like? :)
