Misleading information. 1st, it is Aamba bai Mandir, not of Mahalaxmi. It is one of the Shakti Pith's. Shakti Pith's were formed when Sati's body parts fell after they were cut by Sudharshan Chakra. So it's Sati/Parvati/Amba bai. 2nd She is carrying Shastra in her hands as Parvati/Ambani bai/kali all forms of Parvati only. Were as Mahalaxmi is always shown calm and sitting on lotus with money pot flowing. All Old people still address tye temple as Amba bai mandir and not Mahalaxmi mandir. All the roads showing direction also show Amba bai mandir. She is Amba bai and not Mahalaxmi.
