it's called a tilak. In Hinduism it's normal to have marks on the forehead that are different for each denomination. Such marks have spiritual symbolism but also allow to identify the different denominations people belong to.

Hello James. Many Indian Yogies have similar experience. All of them are guided based on their future spiritual journey. I have been to Mahavatar Baba ji cave in india. Its in a mountain in Himalayas (uttrakhand) . Baba ji has helped many many Yogies either in vision or by manifesting in physical form. By the way he gave up his body 5000 years ago and considered as one of the greatest Yogies live in India. Well one more thing I have brought his photo from that place and it has done something to me. I was amazed and shocked to see the power of that photo. (I have been meditating since last 3 years and have been initiated to Sambhavi Mahamudra).

It certainly doesn’t mean that people should be worshipped as god or have their followers believe their silly magic tricks of vomiting gold eggs or conjuring ash, that’s just blind following without reason or common sense. Let’s put Vishwananda in a scientific setting and test his claims. If he’s god then what’s the problem? The world is full of suffering, why should an incarnation of god be vomiting gold eggs? Let’s drop him in Palestine and see if his ‘miracles’ work there, maybe take Mahaavatara Babaji, Krishna, Jesus and whoever else with him seeing as he knows them so well. This guy seems to be more about makeup, hair products and jewellery than spirituality, maybe do something miraculous for his own people and stop the persecution of LGBT especially transgender folk. There’s a million better things an incarnation of god could be doing.
