@@thatonerandomguy9764 Intentions always matter. Exams are important, but to sacrifice ethics on the altar of material success can never be in the long-term interest of the society and, resultantly, of the individual. Instead of appreciating meaningful relationships, the students are informed that they are facing their biggest competition. A positive manner to do this could have been to ask for each to aim for perfection. Since nothing can go beyond that, each person would do as much as they can and get the result they could be reasonably expected to guess. Whatever education is, it's certainly not limited to this. Mentality does need to change.

Firstly it's not demotivating, it's motivating. It may feel bad or demotivating but 99% times these "demotivating" speeches are only responsible for success because they are the facts based on our current situation. Changing the fact is always in our hands but it cannot happen until we are motivated or some say "demotivated" from these speeches. I always choose harsh realities over sugar coated words because sugar coated words are temporary, you will need them daily just like a dopamine rush but harsh realities are permanent.
I love how the colour shifted to black and white again at the end. How beautifully shown that the dark period is not yet over.

@sauravsarkar48142 жыл бұрын
The entire purpose of this webseries was to highlight one fact: Herd mentality (Assembly Line). I feel that every scene, every dialogue has been carefully concocted to deliver one message: This (17-22) is the age to learn and appreciate, the moment we decide to enter a race that is governed by factors beyond our control, we have already lost. By the time we realise that, precious time is gone for good. Motivation seems to be a fat salary, a big car, a pretty wife, a huge house and God knows what other trash. Why blame Maheshwari when this is something that is delivered like a sermon at home during our formative years? The prospect of gaining knowledge, an eagerness to learn, excitement when we figure out how things work, etc. should be a few things that should motivate us to get out of bed every morning and push through another day. I know these are big words (and pretty redundant due to the rampant use in cult Bollywood films 😀) but there is a semblance of truth to it. I know people who have a BSc./MSc. from a normal college and still managed to emerge as winners in their respective fields. Just enjoy the subjects, don't make it a damn race. Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Organic/Inorganic Chemistry, Maths, etc. have some fascinating concepts and we sure as hell can take some time to appreciate its various nuances during the learning process 😀. Just to clarify a few points on who I am: 1. I tried appearing for AIEEE (back in 2007-08) and JEE but couldn't crack it as my preparation wasn't good enough. 2. The thought of dropping a year did cross my mind but thankfully I decided against it and completed my engineering from a pvt engg college in Nagpur. 3. I deliberately skipped campus placements as I had different plans. I cleared CDS, appeared for SSB (Allahabad) in the winter of 2012 but got conferenced out. 4. Came back home, got dejected and gave the AMCAT exam. Despite securing a good score I didn't get any interviews calls. 5. Next plan, enrolled in a training institute in Kolkata and understood the fundamentals of Computer Programming. 6. Post training joined a startup towards the end of 2013. Worked there for 6 months. 7. 2014, got a call from Cognizant on the basis of my 2012 AMCAT scores. Interview went well and I bagged the job :) 8. Skip to 2019, bagged an interview with an investment banking giant and cleared it. Joined the bank's Internal Audit division :) 9. 2022, switched to another bank located across the street and joined the Tech Risk division. Life is never unfair guys, opportunities are aplenty, you just need to keep your eyes and ears open. Today I have the privilege of working alongside guys who hail from elite colleges, however, my journey has been my biggest teacher. If I could do it, so can each one of you. Make your own path, but do remember one thing: A blockade indicates that there has to be a detour to move forward 🙏

This is so true *BUT ONLY FOR STUDENTS CURRENTLY IN 10,11,12* College peeps will tell you it is not as much important. The max help it gives is that companies come in your college to hand you jobs. This is a solid reason to be in top colleges but in reality you can always be in good companies even if you are from tier 3 college. You need to have the passion and drive for it. Start coding, development, do internships, take referral and switch jobs. Countless people have gotten selected into top companies.
Getting into a good product based company from a tier 3 college is tougher than getting into IIT. Most companies would just throw your CV and resume you sent into the Shredder once they see the name of your college, even if you have better "skills" and are much more "talented" than that IITian who got selected in the on-campus round

For what? Speaking truth? In reality maheshwari brothers are no lesser than billionaires

there are 2 types of maheshwaris one who Demotivates you and one who motivates you. If you are the one who choose the one who demotivates you than you have to bear with it and don't forget that, that demotivation will let you be one of the successful person in you life. so both of the maheshwaris are as equal and will help you in life . hope everyone knows who the second maheswari is

I am in Europe right now and I failed terribly at this shitty exam. Be sincere with whatever you do. Life will find a way for you if you try to find a way.

His speech wasnt demotivating at all... It is the fact... I myself preparing for competitive exams.. & one should face the fact that in competitive exams success rate is less than even 10%... If a candidate can face it only he/she push himself/herself to the limits & may qualify a particular exam...
