She was about to poison his unborn child but stopped it when she realized how much that child meant to him. She was ready to face the terrible possibility of another prince coming if it was what Sulieman wanted. Mahidvran didn't think like that. Mahidvran encouraged Mustafa to cut ties with his siblings since they were all kids. Hurrem never did that until Mustafa was grown up and actually became an enemy Mahidvran killed Mehmet and actually smiled when she heard of his death. Hurrem killed Mustafa but was sad that it had to be this way and she cried because she wished there was a way Mustafa could survive without her sons dying. Mahidvran was treated very well by Valide sultan and Hatice sultan but the minute Sulieman got sick she declared herself Valide sultan and planned to kill their nephews /grandsons who were all innocent children and actually said it to Hurrem's face when all she did for Mustafa when he was that age was look after him. Hurrem was treated awfully by the royal family but when they believed Sulieman drowned she was the first to get her very pregnant self up and give them all hope that he was alive So you tell me, how the heck can Hurrem be any worse than Mahidvran 😒😒😒

Even as mother of crowd prince (mahidevran) , hurrem in dynasty was considered as above to that of mahidevran between the two. After mustafas death, hurrem was the one to become valide sultan (she acted as one in Istanbul and palace anyway) so people had to get used to it but that's life, it was mihrimah to achieve the title in the end.
