This is the best car in the segment and far better than overrated fortuner. It may be drives better than endeavour but it is way more reliable product than the ford. Ssangyong engines are reliable and long lasting. In europe, rexton g4 comes with warranty of 250,000 kms or 7 years i guess which is equivalent to the warranty of toyota there. We own a 2014 2nd gen fortuner but this car seems way more premium. Endeavour might please enthusiasts but it will create problem after some time, ford service is a nightmare and endeavours, everests catching fire is normal these days. In uk, people are avoiding ford cars many have filed case due to endless engine issues. Only alturas and fortuner remains in this segment, alturas is any day better than fortuner and that's what most fortuner owners says after driving alturas g4. My family is a big toyota lover, but i always wanted indian brands to rival these overrated and overhyped brands. Marazzo and alturas g4 will surely affect the sales of toyota innova and fortuner rspt. Toyota is the most greedy brand, it's cars are already overpriced and again they are again ready for price hike on every car by 1.25 lakhs from 2019 onwards.

Ok so here's the list ..G4 Alturas/Kodaiq- for the classy and sophisticated (may have earned their monies as they were in the overseas for some time).Peeps who will never leave the city. Will go from mall->home->gym->office and thats it . Ford Endeavour- for the passionate Indians(who lives with a heart and has earned monies through sheer hard work and wants ride a with butch looks and appreciates quality..does not seek every ones opinion to buy a vehicle. Just goes takes a test ride and cuts the cheque.Does not give a rats ass about Mileage talks. Fortuner- Tin ka dabba car owners who suddenly got monies by selling their high valued lands / occupied lands. Those who dont know what to do with monies they suddenly got ..for them fortuner is the final frontier coz they have always seen their kinds/Politicians in that.

It's not that easy to just make a car and launch it, it makes lots of testing and tons of money. Mahindra took years in making marazzo and $200 million (1500 crore) investment. They own ssangyong and rexton g4 is pretty good car. If we are getting a great product, what's wrong in it?

The fortunes cannot be called an suv or an off-roader. .. it’s so bouncy . I wonder how come owners do not notice it . I got into a clients car once and slightly humpy roads got my head hit on the hand handle above the window. I couldn’t believe it. By the time we got of the road .. I was freaked out and shaking like hell .. only on highway it was good .. for that matter even an alto goes good on highway

Looks massive, Feels rock solid, Get inside it feels very premium, engine refinement is very good, decent dynamics for a Ladder frame suv, feature loaded especially in safety... It gets 9 airbags... I really think that this was a great review - you were honest, and that's sadly something that's disappearing from a lot of these "sponsored" reviews. This thing is a mess! It's basically a Rexton, sans many of its decent features. I was never impressed by the Rex to begin with, and M&M just made its Indian avatar a whole lot worse. And a price tag closing 3 mil? Sir I want ur suggestion in a problem.. my father own a Maruti Suzuki Celerio vxi from june 2017.. recently my uncle (who is far more experienced than me & my father in driving) drove the car and said the steering wheel sometime feels loose & sometimes feel having good weight.. the car has done around 2500 kms.. my father drives the car almost once in a week or more.. do we need to go to service centre to solve this immediately??
