Hello Doc! I’m currently a nursing student and if I were given the opportunity to proceed in medicine, I’d really choose UPCM as always. Honestly, it’s because UP is my dream school ever since I was a kid but unfortunately I didn’t aced the UPCAT. I just found out the curriculum in UPCM which is OSI and the fact that your examinations were only on Fridays, I think it’s somewhat undemanding and I would prefer that way- I’m hoping that the system wouldn’t change in our time. I passed two board exams doc at age 21, and I was planning to enter Medschool last year, kaso they told me that it was prohibited to go to school and work at the same time sa Med school. And since I also love law, I ended up in law school. I love Med school like 52% and law school like 48%. Huhu pero I think once I become a lawyer, I’d still pursue med school 😊😂

I've been dreaming of pursuing med since I was a child, and INTARMED had long been my dream course. Your videos popped up in my recommendations while I was pondering about college and after watching, inspired me more. I'm now in my first year of senior high, as nervous as my 2021 ates and kuyas supposedly taking their cets in a couple of months, because we'll also be taking them next year. As a fresh UPCM graduate, in retrospect, super ganda nga ng OSI. At first, super gulo since we already discuss pathologies ng 1st year sa OSI but it ends up okay lalo na pag sa clinicals sa boards. Tapos super true na relatively chill nga ang LU3 to LU5 natin compared sa other med schools like UST, UERM, etc. Pero HelLU4 talaga tapos super true ng benign LU5 hahaha Binawian lang tayo ng clerkship and internship. Super trans-based learning tayo but most of the transes are Harrison's, etc based kaya parang ganoon na rin. Hahaha

I wish I have watched a video like this 3 years ago. My self-esteem was too low that I did not even try to apply to UPCM. Iniisip ko kasi, hindi rin ako matatanggap and baka hindi ko kayanin sa UPCM. Hi Doc Dalvie! I'm a 2nd year medical student of UP Manila School of Health Sciences here in Palo, Leyte. Maganda nga po ang OSI actually para hindi kalat ang lessons to read and study, yun lang sa amin instead of 5 months(1 sem) we cover subjects for only 3 months(1quarter). Actually, I uploaded a video in my channel to explain how the school run the step-ladder curriculum. Medyo hirap talaga dito sa sked kc siksikan din, but the OSI really helps us para hindi maguluhan. UPCM graduate here but had the traditional curriculum. Was it hard? Of course medicine is always hard but it was wonderful that we were just one large class per year. We knew each classmate as well as those of the other years. This made for fun…almost high school level FUN!! Many warm memories were shared. We had awesome professors, many considered the best in their fields in the country. They must be the legends of your generation as your current teachers belong to mine.… still excellent for sure.

This is a very inspiring video, love it! If this video was shown when I was in pred med I would have considered applying sa UPCOM kaso natakot ako. Ok lang nagtapos ko rin Med school ko.
