Mahito is genuinely one of my favorite villains. He is a newborn curse so he's naturally immature and still learning. But in a very short amount of time, he learns Domain Expansion, kills Junpei and Mechamaru, obliterates Nanami, blows Nobara's eye out, permanently cripples Todo, trash talked Sukuna, copies Gojo's move after seeing it ONE TIME and psychologically ruins Yuji. He was an absolute MENACE. And even when "Geto" betrayed him, he saw it coming. Because he was born from humans. He knows how quick they are to betray those around them. Phenomenal character. Phenomenal villain

Great point. I truly think if he wasn't preoccupied with screaming for his life, Mahito would spend his very last seconds getting absorbed taunting Yuji on how he'll never get closure by killing him. One last chance of cursing another human being with suffering before he goes out.

@@PJTeach-id6ld Yeah I feel that if Mahito had even another year or 2 to mature, or if he had suffered big losses before, he would have been fully prepared to die and instead focused on tearing down Yuji as much as he possibly could before it happened. Unfortunately Mahito was a newborn baby who suffered its first real loss and he died screaming and crying.

Ngl, it tilts me that cj seems to paint mahito as human.... Uh, that's the whole point of the character: he's the most humanesque, but with the fewest human values, of all the curses we met in the story. He ain't human.... At all. It's like being surprised jogo or hanami were keeping a collection of humans in their creeper basement, no duh they kill people indiscriminately, when they themselves are hunted by sorcerers.

Megumi himself said he would let people die if he doesn't know them or if it's unnecessary. Gojo saves live because he can and has bo reason to be evil. Itadori just cherishes life just not his own

Before Shibuya there would be light hearted side comedy segments/mini chapters and when they got adapted into the anime they were called juju strolls and were often added at the end of episodes in season 1. I highly suggest you give them a watch cause they are funny af

It took me a minute to realize in JJK from our perspective Itadori is the main story and therefore the main character and should have plot armor but in their world the "main cast" was Gojo, Geto, and that 1 chick. They're the ones who initially had the plot on their side. Which is why Itadori can't catch a break
