That's actually a great idea. I'd love seeing a normal 3pt contest, then another after where the winner goes against legends in a SHOOTING contest. It would have the normal 3pt contest shots, then various mid range shots. Slight correction. After Jordan proved inadequate, they put Ron Harper, Kerr and various double/triple teams on him - and he still dropped 32. He made Kerr look a fool in cement shoes. Silky smooth he is. The purest of shooters. That release is lightning quick! His play style fits perfectly in todays game. He has a great understanding of how to create space for his shot, when to step into the open spot, patient playmaker and great passer, off the charts IQ and his fundamentals are fantastic. Love how humble he is. No over the top flashiness or look-at-me attitude. Just ice in his veins when on the court. An absolute shame he played in earlier less accomodating era where because of his religious beliefs he was effectively run out of the league by a narrow-minded David Stern and equally ridiculous media. And he is doing all this at age 49 whilst suffering from Tourette's Syndrome also. Legend!
