on 28th of February 1922 the UK unilaterally declared the independence of Egypt but actually it didn't withdraw its troops out of Egypt , so it was only nominal independence . in 1936 the Anglo-Egyptian treaty was signed which gave the UK the right to continue its military presence in the canal zone and to reoccupy the entire Egyptian land in the case of war which actually happened during the second world war . After the Egyptian revolution a new treaty was signed on the 19th of October 1954 which stated that the British troops have to be evacuated during a period of twenty months , this actually occurred on 18th of June 1956 ,but it was not a happy end , a month later president Nasser declared the nationalization of Suez canal and the British troops joined the French and the Israeli troops during the Suez crisis and attempted to occupy the canal region but they failed and withdrew again on 23rd of December 1956.

1922 was the declaration of independence but it was not the full independence since there were so many conditions it might as well have not been. The 1956 revolution under Gamal Abdel Nasser deposed the British puppet king and is considered the true independence by many. No wonder Ummi is upset!

In ancient egyptian kings called swtni, swt, bti or swtbt’. pr was palace. phera or pharaoh was kings palace which eventually because associated with king himself. pharaoh spelling comes from hebrew during bible times. this is the history. saying ancient egyptians called king pharaoh is wrong
