As someone who isnt a fan of King of Fighters or Fatal Fury, im upset that we have half the character pass being KoF characters. Since we only get 4 characters per season, its a problem. If we had 6 characters per season i wouldnt mind. I guess a better way to relate is imagine having half DLC characters are from a game you dont play. Well, the 3 have had multiple crossovers, although the only place Tekken characters appeared in the SNK universe was in the phone game KoF All-Star. Also Mai fought Dead or Alive and Virtua Fighter characters, and Haohmaru fought Soul Calibur characters and Baiken from Guilty Gear, so basically all fighting games are connected except Mortal Kombat.

Capcom isn't adding Mai because they want to. They are adding Mai because SF6 isn't pulling the sales numbers that Capcom wants so they are trying to bring in collabs to expand the player base. I don't think this is a bad thing necessarily but so long as SF6 utilizes Denuvo, I will not purchase it.
