This is the maiden flight of this new Version of the 3D printed Eurofighter in LW-PLA-HT and has a livery of the Bavarian Tiger 2021 made of self made water slide decals.

@@tinypanda2218 I can't say whether I will be a MIG-29 at some point. There is already a good MIG at Motionrc. I don't know if a machine to be printed is worthwhile.

Great Color Scheme!!! I have a question: Towards the end of the video, you brush the entire aircraft; what is it about?

Thanks. Since the machine was printed with LW-PLA-HT, I coat it with diluted epoxy resin before painting. This turns the material into a composite material that increases the load-bearing capacity of the surface and at the same time reduces the brittleness of the LW-PLA-HT. The paint finish will also be better because the epoxy resin closes the pores.

@@cristianlamera1144 I get my resin from R&G in Germany, but I can't say which brand it is. I use the 40min resin, which takes about 40 minutes to start to thicken. I then dilute this resin with spirit in a ratio of 1 to 1.

in your video at the 45:06 mark , you are brushing something on the outside of the jet. what are you brushing on?

I coat it with diluted epoxy resin before painting, so that the LW-PLA-HT is no longer so brittle, the surface can absorb more forces and it closes the pores for a better painting.

@@aerodeck Nein. Ich schrieb, dass die Neue OHNE Akku 3300g wiegt, aber die Alte ein Abflugewicht, also mit Akku, von 4220g hatte. Ich schrieb dies nur deshalb so, weil viele Menschen unterschiedliche Akkus und damit mit unterschiedlichen Gewichten benutzen, weshalb das Abfluggewicht sich damit dann unterscheiden würde. Deshalb habe ich diesmal das Gewicht ohne Akku angegeben, die Neue aber deshalb nicht leichter ist. Um genau zu sein, ist die Neue 100g schwerer als die Alte, was daher kam, weil die Neue ja noch mit Epoxidharz bestrichen wurde und die vielen Decals und damit mehrfach Klarlack drauf hat. Das es 100g mehr sind, habe ich bei beiden Maschinen bei gleichem Bauzustand gemessen.

Das habe ich schon so verstanden. Aber selbst mit einem Lipo von 900g wäre die V2 leichter. Und solange du keine relevanten Änderungen an der Zeichnung vorgenommen hast, kommt mir das spanisch vor. PLA-LW HT hat ein 50% höheres Gewicht als PLA-LW . Und noch weniger Infill als 3% ist kaum möglich. Und als Zugabe noch einen Twin Afterburner. Deswegen meine Zweifel.

@@aerodeck Ok, ich war mir nicht sicher. Nein, das stimmt nicht, das LW-PLA-HT ein höheres Gewicht als normale LW-PLA hat. Beide wiegen nach dem Druck gleich viel. Ich habe zwar nicht die Filamentrollen gewogen, aber ich benutze die selben Slicereinstellungen bei beiden Materialien und das Gewicht nach dem Druck von ein und dem selben Teil ist eigentlich identisch. Und das weiß ich, weil ich beide Materialien benutze und deshalb das Ergebnis messen kann. Zumindestens kann ich dies für die beiden Materialien von ColorFabb sagen. Wie dies bei anderen Herstellern ist, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis. Bei ColorFabb ist das gedruckte Gewicht bei beiden Materialien sogut wie gleich. Ich die Slicereinstellungen sind bei beiden gleich.
