Beautiful plane, but after the numerous issues I’ve had with Horizon products I am very nervous to do my first flight. I know there is an issue with the receiver in the SU-30 and the new Spektrum NX transmitters causing brown outs and crashes. I was told by Horizon Tech Support to use my DX9 with this plane, not my Brand new NX10.

Ha ha after my maiden that almost ended in disaster (she comes in hot) I was worried about it being heavy so I was deep on the throttle, wound up killing the battery and landing dead stick after two go arounds coming in too hot- It was fine, I realized that she just floats when you cut the throttle. I just turn on final and stay a little high, get the air brake out, and cut the throttle completely right after the turn into final… glides right in every time now. I thought it would fly heavy like the 80mm F-18, which I prefer to land under around 30% throttle, but nope.

Thanks man She was tail heavy with a 6000 pro put all the way back and I put the elevators just a small hair above the line it calls to in the manual. She’s a great jet!

Nice maiden I had this plane but i had to sell it ruined 6 of my 5,200mah batteries because of the power draw i love it flew really nice i recommend the mig29 if you like the su-30
