I was torn between this one or my Bigfoot the Bigfoot won I put Tasman wheels on it but unfortunately I got a puncture and have had to put original wheels back on which are quite hard , I do have some other wheels I can put on which are soft but I’m gonna see how the original do unfortunately the place where I flew was flinty ground, we have been spoiled today with 3 vids not that I’m complaining lol I couldn’t get out for fly today but I’m hoping to go tomorrow but my camera man is going go carting lol but if I remember I have a little camera I can stick on top to get some footage, thanks for vids and keeping me sane and occupied today lol , Gary 🇬🇧✈️

Hi Gazza, like you I cannot get out as much as I would like - so I do try to make the most of it when I do, I guess a flat would be a problem , it is interesting what you say about the Bigfoot, as I had to decide between the Bigfoot and the 1700mm PA18 and when for the PA18, so I just had to get this smaller one when it came out... Never really took a look at the Tasman - didn't they do a bigger version of it ?? - still not looked a them, Hope the carting goes well, I will keep an eye out for your flights.. Stay Safe, Martyn

@@FlankerTanker hi bud it’s the glasstar which is the smaller one and Tasman is next size up I have the glasstar the wheels off these both are good but where I flew it is corn field that had been cut then turned over and it’s chalky and has lots of flints in soil but on tarmac or grass they would be great I’ve got a patch ready to go on it but I shall be flying in same place so gone back to original wheels which will handle ground better the good thing bout the Bigfoot is the fuselage is one piece I have to transport it with wings off my Audi A4 is not designed for rc planes they all go on back seat and one small one in boot with all the rest of stuff batteries and controller cases it was great when I had a zafira but I have gone for power in my car now it’s turbo diesel and has got a stage one mapping done it pulls like a train now lol 😂

i was expecting a dryer joke on the shrinkage quip i haven't had much shrink from dry cleaning!! handles good not as good on power as i thought i was thinking you'd 52% maybe 55% on the top end left! that white and grey combo may be an issue on gloomy days though!

Hi Keith, I know, I know , sometimes I do not think my ideas through to conclusion..😁😁😂😂, You could be right regarding visibility, so I might add some underwing stripes... Stay well Martyn
