I had to go over the ending a few times, it all happened too fast from my ears to my brain to know who was who and who did the crime!

​@@maricamaas2326 I thought the same thing, however Knowing they, in those days, they allowed the wealthy travelers with their dogs and cats, to roam about the train uninterrupted. 🐈 Having a cat in the first class dining car would probably be unnoticed. M. IL. 🖤. USA

Louise! I think that’s the first time I’ve heard her first name after a long lifetime reading (now listening to) Maigret novels. He usually refers to her as Mme Maigret.
