I would add that once the York daughters got working Royal status, if they wanted it, they might, through loyalty, be prone to advocating for their father and mother to regain the higher status they've both lost through their behaviour in the past. I think it would be awkward for the daughters to be in the middle since both their parents seem to be pushy in terms of getting as much out of the Royals as they can get.

I remember when Beatrice mocked the Queen by pretending to "Knight" Ed Sheeran. She was at a party at Royal Lodge, got a ceremonial sword and managed to slice his face instead of tapping his shoulder.
