You talk to local Oakfield Maine code enforcement and they tell you what you can do. You can always move it back... just no closer to lake on these right on the water properties put in before shoreland zoning.

Andrew--Lee again,,,unreal how this one is still available,,,,,,umm just a question or statement,,I have checked out many properties on the lake fronts,and have come to the conclusion,that most of them have very limited,if any,bedroom closets,,looks like only houses away from the lakes near town have basements for storage,,sooo am I that most of the properties on the lakes are more cottages with limited yearly time on them,so less closets needed ?? sure would be nice to see some units on the lakes for all year living,and with more closets in the bedrooms,,,,,This property is excellent,but a person who needs closets would have to build extensions on the bedrooms to add closets,,,,Gorgeous place though,,,,,,Lee

Neither is erosion using weed and feed on long expansive lawns. Protecting against milfoil is a constant effort too and luckily none of that in our area because of the best practices around the shoreland training.
