these 2 clowns ever since this tourney started they have not been paying good attention or have commentated professionally at all, it made me want to mute the matches I have being seeing because they are not into the match, even though they are more probably taking a payment for this work, unbelievable, you can see what I mean on last stock game 1 here, leo killed maister with an up b after an upair and they where laughing ( without letting us know what was so funny to ignore a Leo vs maister classic) . its ff with comentators like this, they always kill the vibe.

That's a very common Joker extension after up air. Well played but nothing new nor special - you see mid level Jokers doing that stuff to punish from beneath on moves such as gnw up b, mario up b or any character who likes to up air high from top bf plat

After a month of watching melee tournaments this feels so surreal. It's literally like watching two completely different types of games. The strategies that top players use in Ultimate are so different. 😮

@@michaelatkinson1949 I like them both as different things. When I was in college I was a top ranking competitor in my county for both melee and brawl tournamentsl. I never played nationally, but I still love both games fairly equally despite them being very different and having their own set of issues. For example, Brawl is slow and tripping is a really dumb mechanic, but melee is seriously unbalanced in terms of viable characters. Yes Meta Knight is the best character in brawl, but I never saw him being as overused as much as Fox was. I would go to melee tournaments where everyone in the top 3 spots was a Fox main, meanwhile I would go to brawl tournaments and you never knew which characters would fill the top 3 spots. Like one time I placed second in a brawl tournament of 50 players using Falco and Pit, but the first place winner was a solid Diddy Kong main. Meta Knight wasn't anywhere in the top three spots in that tourney. Meanwhile at every single melee tournament I've played in the top three usually had at least two or more Fox mains.
