I do believe the need for readers to own paperback and hardcover books will never go away. There's just something special about holding an actual book in our hands.

I want to buy an actual hardback of all of Raythe’s books, and the MOMENT I have a little spare money you best believe I’m getting the 1st Ever dark volume and it’ll have a place of honor in my apartment. Raythe Reign is such an incredible thing because it’s $10 and you have access to dozens of stories and hundreds of podcast/audiodrama episodes and stories that are ever growing. So many creators and authors offer similar things and they fight so hard to produce their art and corporations make that so difficult. But as time goes on we see the same thing over and over and over from large corporations. It’s with the small creators the future lies. I can’t wait to see where Raythe Reign goes and I know me and sooo many more feel the same way

"Somebody in the print room may be offended..." I rolled my eyes at that. 🙄 "Netflix doesn't care about your money" that's fortunate, because they don't get a penny of it. bahaha. Since I got into Raythe Reign I have become a lot more aware of independent authors and have sought them out. At this point I think only one quarter of the books I buy are mainstream. The problem I have with mainstream is that they offer a limited range, take it or leave it. However, indie authors offer so much more choice. I bet I could think of any genre and story line and would probably find that somebody somewhere had written something for it. This vast array of possibilities is feeding my bibliophilia. 😊

It was so disappointing to realize that mainstream pubilshers have this bottleneck still based on print schedules. It's like they CANNOT change.

I support a lot of independent comic artists. I love seeing their work online become a printed object. Like ones on webtoon. Or other independent creators. I meet some authors at conventions as well. Loving seeing them.

The problem with patreon is that the costs are so high that the average dedicated reader couldn't possibly afford the item. I wish more authors would have something similar to Raythe's membership, which is more affordable to the average reader/fan.

I'm not that familiar with what other authors do on Patreon, mostly have just looked at / contributed to Kickstarters. What have you seen?

I love the stories you make, and I love the direction of having physical copy of them. When I get a chance, I'll be buying my own copies ❤ But definitely there's a shift for having physical media where possible.

Independent authors, graphic novel creators, and more creators have mire freedom in creating what they want. And its amazing! Along with Raythe Reign, I have found and enjoyed so many new works/creations from authors, artists. Thank you for the Shout Out! 😁😁😁😁😁

The reason I don't have the hardcovers is because I (Kat) don't have any SPACE in my bookshelf! It's crammed full with books on top.
