THE PLASTIC COVER WAS HARD TO TAKE OFF BUT GOT IT DONE. THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO! IT SAVED ME SOME GOOD MONEY AND MADE MY WIFE HAPPY. SHE THINKS SHE HAS A REAL MAN AROUND THE HOUSE NOW. GOT HER FOOLED HA HA !

Thanks I have a older, princess series, whirlpool refrigerator, and I inherited this refrigerator… The home was a rental for a number of years. Anyway, the lightbulb appears to be burnt out, it stopped working, however, I cannot get that lightbulb out it’s stuck. I mean trying to turning it left… Mostly left for lefty loosey , then right, then straight out but you know I was like well you know maybe this one’s different. No, no type of twisting is making that lightbulb come out. Have you ever come across something like this and if so, what did you do? Thank you.

No it doesn't My model is WRT511SZDWO2 can not get lens cover off on Freezer light to chg bulb. I'll be darn if I need a tech house call to change bulb. Won't do it. Follow up: Did it with butter knife wedged down to slide over the 2 white plastic pieces each side. Now have a funky bulb to replace. (The clips are part of the clear lens cover not visible or no obvious area to squeeze).
