For greasing hubs, or spindles your need to pop the metal dust cover off the top/ front and watch the bearing fill.... if you dont you run the risk of pushing the seal out the other side of the bearing, or not greasing it enough. How you have properly greased spindles and hubs without popping the dust cover off.... is magical. lol

I clean air filters all the time. They make tools for doing it that work very very well and there's actually some companies around here that have made a pretty penny by cleaning them. You have to inspect the inside of the filter, make sure the pleats aren't coming apart and you'll be good to go. As a rule of thumb I say 2-3 cleanings then replace the element.

Blowing out an airfilter is no good, as you can damage the filter material. It is much better to tap it clean on a hard flat surface. This way you can get more dust out of it than blowing, without damaging filter material. Tap not hard to avoid dents or cracks. Lightly for a longer time will be enough. This way it is save to use a filter for a longer time. Enjoying your everyday video's now Mike ‼️ Greetings from a Fendt educated mechanic. 🔧

Those pins on the Bourgaults HAVE to have a grease fitting. I think that's a engineer refusing to admit he screwed up by not putting a fitting the in the first place. Drill and tap those pins for a grease fitting and you'll probably never break or lose one again. But that's just my opinion after 40 years of working on heavy equipment. But what do i know, I don't have a piece of paper to prove I'm smart.

Hi Mike loving the videos as usual, was wondering would you say that running hydraulic fans or any continuous oil through a motor would deteriorate your hydraulic oil faster than just back and forth in hydraulic cylinder or is it really not noticeable in terms of the oil life?
@daniel_poore3 жыл бұрын
DEAREST MIKE, please, for the love of god stop buying new air filters if they plug in 3 days, I cant seem to find the exact one on a google search, but harbor freight sells a very inclusive semi and tractor air filter cleaning kit. Connect to a compressor, this little 4 way air wand goes inside the cylindrical air filter ( and there is even a special cap to go on top and bottom to help pressureize the inside of the filter ) and this 4 headed air want spins in circles inside your filter and cleans it damn close to factory fresh. CHECK IT OUT!!! even if you cant find the harbor freight kit, others make similar. This thing will save you thousands if youre really needing to stuff filters in these tractors that often. Cheers!
