Maisie‘s Blackpool stories are the gift that keeps on giving! Already loved her talking about those holidays on Off Menu.

This is my fave on the internet today. My grandad taught me how to replace a shovel handle at 6 years old Firing up the torch and getting the new head glowing to burn in the new handle. I'll never forget his words or his face the next day when he got home from work and I'm in the garage doing one on my own. Don't tell your nan, please don't tell your nan 😂😂😂😂

No matter how old or famous you are, those years with your gran & grandad are precious

I’m 51 and my mum is 74, last week I drove from Harrogate to Glasgow to take my mum to visit family and on the way home we decided to make a detour to Ayr and spend a couple of hours at the seaside. As we crested a hill I saw the ocean in the distance and screamed out at the same time as my mother ‘the ocean, the ocean!’ Even now it’s exciting and that’s from people that used to live next to the ocean! 😂

Oh good Lord, "I've been the Eagle for fifty year" I don't know whether that's good fodder for a The Four Yorkshiremen sketch, or a title for a Biopic of Joe Walsh.

Wow! Maisie’s new do! Totally changes her! It suits her. I’ll be honest, the crew cut was radical when she did it. I haven’t seen her since.

Worse, imagine the ribbing you'd get if you got the Blackpool Zoo job and your name was Ed...
