Great you review this one! I bought it for my partner 3 years ago for his birthday and I love it so much on him! Funny, it is a bit like you say: it smells very clean and fresh in the morning when he puts it on. You can still smell it in the evening but then the smell has turned a bit ‘dirty’ - still very attractive! 🤩

You should keep branching out and do reviews on brands such as Kilian, Xerjoff, Tom Ford, Creed, Amouage, Roja, MFK, Parfums de Marly, Fragrance du Bois, and Armani Prive 🎉

34:24 Dacob, he’s got the travel case (similar to Frederic Malle’s) and any of the refills will fit it. I think that if you like to explore the scents more than the smaller sample vial or the type who likes variety, there are assortments of several refills so that may be what the travel sizes are marketed towards. The travel case is hefty and a fingerprint magnet 😅 and you either love it or hate it. I agree with the pricing but have great respect for FK. Thank you for promoting conscious consumerism. I am with you 100%!

I used to buy the MFK fragrances. I was obsessed by Absolu por le soir, Ciel de gum or Grand Soir. That was prior to mfk refurmulating all of them. At the moment, I am revisiting my Chanel collection and adding 1 bottle of vintage a month of those particular bottles I have been trying to get for years now. Thank you! Petit matin sounds pretty. You’re absolutely correct. Funny that you mention Beige - as popular as it was it’s one of the Les Exclusives that I rarely wear. We’re on the same page with that one. Also, I still can’t decide whether to commit to another version of another particular more recent Chanel fragrance since I rarely reach for the one I have. This fragrance review reminded me to touch up . Early in the day I spritz my choice(s)mostly from the waist down, that way it’s more diffused by the time it hits the nose. Later in the day I usually touch up with the same or another fragrance at pulse points and throat etc. I looooove the world of fragrances. I’m in a whole mood looking forward to fall and considering what moods I’ll want to play with cheers! P.s. Green tea is on sale on Gilt. Do you remember té by Colognia. So awesome!

Love your review Dacob!This one stands out the most to me out of all the MFK fragrances along with 724. His prices are high but at least for these two fragrances you can muster the price tag. The rest of his fragrances aren’t special enough to warrant paying exuberant prices for. For example BR540 to me smells like Coco Mademoiselle without any of the edges of CM. Amyris Homme is another example that smells like a higher quality Allure Homme Sport with the added coffee note that brings out the other notes in the fragrance which I love. However, I would rather purchase the originals than his fragrances because of his high prices. When I tested Petit Matin at the store, I loved how it settled into a metallic like fragrance on my skin. It reminded me of something from the early 2000s that I’m looking for. It might be the Elizabeth Arden fragrance you brought up. To me PM smells like James Bond in the late 50s/early 60s. I’m looking for something in the similar vibe but made for the Y2K era that doesn’t cost over $400 because PM to me doesn’t warrant that price tag but because it’s a different enough fragrance from other niche or designer brands even though this gives designer to me but with better quality citruses.

They're having an anniversary sale at Nordstrom until August 4th, and the Maison Francis Kurkdjian wardrobe discovery sets are 20% off. It includes eight different ten ml travel sprays, and the masculine one includes Grand Soir, Baccarat Rouge 540 (EDP), Gentle Fluidity Gold and Silver, 724, and I'm not sure about the rest, but I think this one, Petit Matin, might also be included. I've really been thinking about ordering it. If it came with the Oud scents too, then I probably already would have ordered it. I've only tried Grand Soir so far, from the Maison Kurkdjian house, but I love that one. I've really been wanting to try BR540 and their Oud scents, like Oud, Oud Satin Mood, etc.

Fantastic review Dacob! This is gonna sound weird but Hawthorne smells leathery and dirty on my skin. It feels like an attractive scent but ratchet. Lasts ages on my skin. I might try this
