Go to a lot of Marinas the boats are stored in racks and when a boat owner calls to use their boat the marina gets it out of the storage shed with a forklift and lowers it down into the water with it

Reminds me of some things I've gotten myself into on farm machinery. Deere magically hung this one part in midair and then built an entire machine around it. Oh well, makes the days "interesting". We'd hate to be bored.

Had a mechanic do some work for me. He had a lot of different colored zip ties. It seemed to make things go easier.

Colored highlighters got me through aviation electrician school in the Navy. Colored tapes helped me wire my house in the Philippines. I keep colored zip ties in case I have to do wiring on my vehicles.

WELL, that looked like the most convenient assembly to remove/replace on a Dozer. I just wish every Engineer would be forced to actually work on and/or repair their own design BEFORE that part actually goes in to production. Great job guys

I have to say the Forklift is a BEAST...I've had a Plug leak on a 850 K. But it could be fixed in it. Just had to have Long Arms..It was on the bottom. The pump housing thin on that 650. Crazy..Great Video Clint. And everyone..

Used to have a 6 tire Clark 12,000 lb lift that made work so much easier. I put extended forks on it and could install entire roof sections solo with it. To see you just pick up that dozer effortlessly brought back memories of doing jobs well done.

That dozer is a nightmare to get the pump stack out. So much fun. A little concern that Deere's pump has this inherent issue. Thanks for sharing.

JD Really should have made a Rear Belly Pan Access for replacing Hoses and or dropping the Pump out - Especially so in order the Pump can be Service Exchanged Rapido to keep the machine running

Hey boy's. I have done that . I put 2 straps over the cab and put a 2 come alongs one on throt and one on the rear and stand the pump up and pull it out. Good job boys.

I used craftsman tools for years. after Sears fell apart it got too hard to find a store. I've broken and lost good tools and cheap tools thank God for the adjustable wrench

Of course I want to see you reassemble the loggers carnage. I have worked with a logger crew that used to drive from Alabama to Texas to work 7 days on and 7 days off on the oil drilling rig I worked on in my younger days ...let me tell you that those logger boys could tear up a steel ball with a feather. They kept the iron tore up and the tool pusher had to fire them when he caught them stealing diesel fuel in 55 gallon drums to make that thousand mile trip back and fourth. Go figure!

I got one of my lights back once. It was still up inside the inner guard cover of the car I had it in when it came in for more work 18 months later. Good magnet! Still worked fine after charging, then got got killed after one of the other techs borrowed it and drove over it! 😖

I good way of marking lines an old Cat Mechanic showed my was using short sections of phone wire. I've gotten it from utility crews repairing underground comms. So, 4" cut section with 100+ wires about 1/2" dia total maybe and there are a lot of different colors but they can be match line to line color wise. I used to them especially on truck trans marking air lines.

I would say that whoevers making decisions as to fix or not with what parts and such... can get said parts quick as memories of what went where and why it did this or that... ya, you have done before but surely you might agree, its a good bit nicer to go back in when it hasn't been a year or more to fix
