Nz already has a capital gains tax. Its called the bright line test and for all effective purposes it is higher than an actual capital gains tax that Australia has.

@henkhustle no, and it never will. Capital gains tax has been in place in Aussie for years, they also have stamp duty. Neither have stopped house prices going up.

Since it's election season I hope some of them would put things into action instead of just talking about doing things
