I have lived through 2 cat 5 hurricanes and they are catastrophic. One in 79 and one in 2017. It's night and if you are stuck in a relatively safe place don't move into the night. This can be fatal, stay put till it's over. May God take care of all in this hurricane's path.

I believe everything the gfs model shows except the intensity. No models or Meteorologist has gotten the intensity right. Hurricane center tends to be conservative. I will watch in real time and take it day by day...in Jamaica

The Grenadines are really small islands the biggest Cariacou is only 12 sq miles. Closest to Grenada. Next in size is Bequai.

Mitch, i am so proud of how well you have pronounced these islands!! Great job! I am praying with you and everyone for all in the path of this storm. Praying for the animals too including strays and wildlife. Hope people have mercy and invite strays in. Glad you have rain. God bless you for all you do. And God have mercy on those who get hit by this storm. I pray it weakens, too. Waiting to see where it winds up here on the mainland. I've seen them get in the gulf ,as a child ,and take a right then a left then go south and come back north. One fiddled around for days. It was something else. I never ask where it will hit until it can be pretty well guessed at. Then there are no garauntees. Praying for no strong tornadoes from this biggun. Praying for our regulars too in general. ❤

He has done a good job so far. He is taking time away from his family and works a full time job, does upkeep of his home., and is a deacon at church. If you hear a place he mispronounced just write it out phonetically and he will put it to memory. Some weather guys get all upset if you correct them and call you a hater. But Mitch is humble and teachable. I have helped him many times. He has always been gracious . No need to put him down. I realize you are scared but we are praying for you and it costs nothing to be tactful and kind.
