As a backup 4 u need to be able to create offense look at Celtics all players can shoot spreading floor, he cnt shoot, generate off for himself or others drive/post collapsing paint when JB main gain is the midrange. Clearly not a good fit

Tyler vs Rokas. Winner becomes backup pg. if Rokas gets the nod Tyler goes to third team and g league. If Tyler wins Rokas maybe traded. Deuce is 2 guard. If Rokas wins does he win by enough to hop scotch Deuce. Is Deuce then the guy who gets traded? Rokas most likely won’t want to be third string so if he wants to be JB’s primary backup he has to ball out this summer or he may be the one to go in a big man trade. I hope they play Tyler and Rokas together big minutes this summer so we can see a real picture. Anyway you slice it Rose and team have created a very interesting summer league point guard competition with heavy implications for all of these young guards.

Charles Barkley is one of the greatest power forwards of all time at 6’4”. Bam Adebayo is 6’9” and one of the best centers in the league. You think that one inch makes a big difference?

@@peteranzano267 Bam is undersized. SF's today are 6'9" 6 feet 8 is definitely a big difference. There are rare undersized defenders like Draymond Green, PJ Tucker, Bam who can defend much taller players but that's because they are great defenders. Barkley wasn't a great defender. He was a great rebounder though and his talent was his versatility on the offensive end. In Philly he was all power but in Phoenix he could do it all.

@@napalmjames7858 actually there are a lot of 3s under 6’9”. No offense, but I feel like some of you guys might be stuck in the 90s mentally when it comes to basketball. The days of the 7’5” center that moves like Frankenstein are over. Today’s game is all about pace and space, mobility, stamina, and switch-ability on defense. There is a much higher risk of a big, slow center getting switched onto a fast guard and then getting torched off the dribble than there is of a guy like Precious getting punished for being a little smaller. How many bigs are there in the league that can really dominate with size like that? Embiid, Jokic, Wemby…you start to run out of names really fast
