Richard going out to meet his ex wife behind Emily's back for the past several years since they were married. Not right.

Sookie being pregnant and making food no child would want is hilarious and embarrassing and all kinds of weird. Also, fun fact: The first girl in that scene, the one who yucked out on the carrot, was Victoria Justice.

Unpopular opinion here. I've been reading a lot about Lindsay being a victim from Dean and Rory's affair in Reddit but I sincerely felt that their marriage was shown falling apart throughout the episodes before it reaches the finality of the fallout. Initially Dean and Lindsay were close and loving to each other. Lindsay had no issue with Dean meeting Rory and Lorelai at the new inn. Then, as the story progressed (though shown via snippet method), Lindsay's behavior (highly influenced by the 'young housewife' mentality I guess), had been about 'me, me AND ONLY me' and kind of pushing Dean away bit by bit with her materialistic wants (the town house, car and so forth). Lindsay being 'hurt' by Rory and Lane's comments at the store does add up to her immaturity, resulting in her being controlling as well. Also, the interaction between Dean and Rory pre-affair was revolving around the idea of the lingering feeling from first love experience. I mean, who doesn't forget their first love, right? Unless it's a toxic relationship. Rory was constantly asking about Lindsay whenever she talks to Dean and worried that it will spell trouble (which it did later on) which I think Dean sort of manipulated her vulnerability with his dissatisfaction in his marriage. I would daresay that Lindsay as a character who resembles immaturity within marriage, contributed to Dean's initial emotional affair with Rory before it manifested out physically. In my opinion, it's a natural occurrence when a wife pushed her husband away too much and ignoring his emotional needs, thus forcing the husband to look for affection elsewhere. Hence, Lindsay isn't really a victim but an initiator to the whole messy situation. Unless we are watching the story in a different way, I supposed. My two cents thought about Season 4's main plot around Rory which I found it realistic.

If you’re unhappy in a marriage.. get divorced You don’t go out cheating if your wife is making you unhappy You either talk it through and fix it, or get a divorce

Why would producers use Rory to promote pro choice (buttons, posters, comments etc)🤔 The entire premise of the show is the beautiful journey/memories of a young girl that chose life for her child? It’s honestly disheartening & unnecessary, considering the ignorance of it all.🤔🤦🏼♀️

The show creator is very outspoken about being pro-choice and is anti-forced pregnancy. She supports women's rights quite openly.
