Has anyone worked out the CO2 emissions for holding the conference on global warming?
@belladonnahigh92063 жыл бұрын
Yeah, good question. Can't they use a sophisticated Zoom like program so they just talk whenever they need to about this stuff? No CO² emissions (police as well as planes and private jets of the "leaders", no protests, safety ensured for civilians as well as those talking heads, no wasting money on the police presence, exquisite food, 1700 year wines, and more. Will they debate on China and how it's the biggest producer of pollution, bigger than the whole world combined?? If no, this so called climate change debate is not a debate. They are all in the pockets of China. Ever heard one leader criticize China? No? Now you know why. There's no climate change, if there truly was, Al Gore's predictions would come true 20 years ago. Same now. It's fearmongering and green technology is a hell of a lot expensive, follow the money.
@generalkenobi51732 жыл бұрын
@@belladonnahigh9206 if you talk about who's to blame for the most pollution emitted over the years its actually the U.S and a few other werstern nations. If we talk about recent pollution then China and America still dominate though China is much further ahead. So what has China been doing to pollute so much recently, well its well known China produces 50% percent of all the worlds goods so alot of factories are located there. China in order to boost their economy and transition it from a 3rd world economy they had to industrilise, which benefited alot of werstern countries who just relocated alot of their industries to China. But since recently China has been clamping down heavily on pollution alot more than alot of the developed nations, from bringing in legislation to changing factories to greener energy to building alot of Nuclear power stations as nuclear is the cleanest form of energy. Alot of nations however like the U.K and America are decommissioning their nuclear power stations due to the monopoly gas companies have and expenses. China has been investing alot in greener energy more so than alot of nations because they know they can't actually sustain this amount of pollution they are very aware of the problems it causes in their cities like smog etc. Now the problem is India has started to industrilise too and so have alot of other countries in order for them to transition and help their economies to be developed and eventually become developed nations. The problem is that well in order for nations to be developed in terms of economies one of the most efficient paths is industrilising. Thats why alot of nations dislike the Co2 summit. That's why its kinda of complicated because alot of nations have different views and are in different situations and will be impacted differently. Developed nations can afford to transition to greener solutions, whilst poorer nations/developing nations can't afford to take the risk. P.s the reason u don't see leaders directly blaming each other is because it will cause a relation break-down. You don't start playing blame games when trying to find solutions, but aside from leader to leader relations, American and China have been blamed alot, more on China's case but China put the argument forward a few years back when they were still developing that their emssions were survival emssions whilst the U.S and alot of western nations produce life style emissions. *(There are two different kinds of emissions categories there is survival emssions which include a country developing its economy and needing to industrilise in order to develop and transition their countries into developed countries. Then their is life style emissions the ones you mostly find in developed countries who are already developed and produce emissions to keep their lifestyle.)* Its a pretty complicated topic.

I wonder how many Scottish drivers sat behind a Welsh police car were trying to work out what HEDDLU was an ancronym for before the penny dropped. For no other reason than the vehicle being out of its natural habitat and therefore out of context. Aside from that, the irony is that when the Rugby World Cup was held in Japan in 2019, First Minister Mark Drakeford came to the Welsh Dome in Shinjuku, Tokyo with an aide on the train and walked down the street just like everyone else. I was a cameraman at the Dome and was able to have a nice chat with Mr. Drakeford and we even took a photograph together. Made me kind of proud that the leader of the Welsh Government was able to do that and he was very friendly and approachable. Couldn't help feel that this is what it should be about. I am not even a Labour voter, but I felt very happy to be able to meet and speak with the leader of my country. Typically for we Welsh, the conversation was limited to 'where are you from, who do you know' (that I might know) and speaking about things that were non-controversial and most certainly not political.

Great video and highlights the problems faced by the police Scotland roads policing unit during the cop26 which in my opinion where well executed but on a serious note do these so called environmentalists not understand that they are just adding to the inner city pollution by clogging up the streets and causing the police to close roads and hold and divert traffic with their impromptu protests point in case the 7 axle heavy haulage combination in the video which is possibly a euro 5 or even a euro 6 compliant vehicle but still pumps out a lot of pollutants not to mention the cars and vans really people let's find a better way to do this
@BlueBockser2 жыл бұрын
If they had done this event virtually or at least not in a major city, all that traffic blocking would've been avoided. But sure, blame the protestors. Also, the amounts we're talking about here are pretty much irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. The event's outcomes on the other hand could've had an actual impact.
@stevenhudson29202 жыл бұрын
@@BlueBockser well tell me who else is to blame, no protest no disruption, when I was growing up we already recycled most things no plastic bottles or packaging no plastic bags then along comes the convenience generation's no you want to protest about it and blame everyone that came before you and take the moral high ground just look at history CND at Faslane for example hasn't made much of a difference do you really think anyone in power takes any notice and like insulate Britain they actually lost any respect and support that they may have had due to the ill conceived form of protest they chose to adopt by blocking roads and as usual causing wide spread disruption

Mutual Aid. Police Scotland didn't have the resources to police the event themselves, so officers, vehicles and units from all over the UK were drafted in to boost numbers. It happens quite often on a much smaller scale between territorial forces usually for demonstrations, Category A football matches, mass casualty and large scale public order incidents. We do similar in the Ambulance Service with the National Ambulance Resilience Unit (NARU).
