Francis Ngannou just did an interview on Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour and this is my reaction. He has no manager? no idea of the boxing business? doesn't know about the matching period of his UFC contract? this may be a disaster waiting to happen, let me know what you guys think in the comments section down below.

Feel like I'm the only person actually listening to things now days, please watch the full video to understand just how bad of a situation Ngannou may be putting himself in, am I the only one that cares about him potentially losing all relevancy and this backfiring? The boxing promoters are currently licking their lips at the thought of profiting millions off of Ngannou, he is prey to them.

The way he is answering the questions, you can tell that he is saying far less than he knows. He is struggling to answer not because he lacks the words but because he was probably coached to say what he is saying. Imagine thinking Eddie Hearn or Top Rank is gonna want Ngannou, a UFC fighter who struggles to sell 200k ppvs, despite having 2 WWE drama storylines built into the promotion (between Ngannou and his coach, and even a stone cold tier story between Ngannou vs Dana. All baked into the Embeded's etc). Imagine thinking Hearn is gonna want you to come in, possibly BURY his own boxers, then leave the boxing community in shambles on your way out. Basically making the entire boxing community become the side character in his personal movie lmaooo. And then hearing this interview where Ngannou is saying "I don't have a manager, I don't check emails, and I turn my phone off to chill"... that right there is possibly enough for any promotion to say "nahh this guy's more trouble to deal with than he's worth. It will be a nightmare to negotiate a fight". Literally. It all makes sense now why UFC says he's hard to work with and hard to *get ahold of*... This guy has Ultimate Warrior written all over.

Ngannu isn't boxing any big names. There was a period where fury was entertaining the idea but since then it's been silence. Something happened, and boxing decided they aren't interested in ngannu. They may extend him an offer to fight a prospect, and if ngannu wins in emphatic fashion maybe he gets a fury fight. But ngannu isn't mcgregor he isn't gonna walk into boxing and fight a top name off rip. Sad. Looks like ngannu made a poor decision.

@@micahjohnson138 Good luck with that. It would make zero sense for Fury to box Francis now. The only reason why it made sense for Fury to box Francis was because he was the UFC champ. Which he isn't anymore, since he left the promotion. In addition, Francis his best bet was Hearn. If you paid any attention, you can confidently say that Hearn isn't interested at all. He wouldn't risk waiting that long if Francis was a needle mover and if it made sense for him to sign him as a boxer. Francis is just a very stubborn man with a big ego and there are plenty of examples of that, but some people just don't want to see it.
