That is incredibly significant and very disappointing and scary. Will not be going to a Lazydayz dealership based on that alone. Thanks for posting.

In that case I wouldn’t buy from them! PDI means probably didn’t inspect!
@TheRVCoupleАй бұрын
True! PDI could use a rebranding-maybe "Purchase at Your Own Risk"?

I never thought about getting an inspection before buying an RV good to know. Thank you for sharing that. Also Lazysays Rv Waller Texas was really good for the last year maybe two that they were open and we were gone for two months on vacation after getting our RV back with some changes done to it, and we come back they close the doors

I'm glad you found the inspection tip helpful! It's always better to be safe than sorry. It's a bummer about LazyDays RV closing down, though. Hopefully, you'll find another great place for your RV needs!

I would never buy an RV without having it inspected by my independent inspector. So, thanks for sharing so I don’t waste my time going to them.

A lot of financial instructions are requiring a survey prior to funding. Some has a price point associated with a required survey. They have the same requirements on larger, boats. I’ve had to get surveys on 2 different boats as they were slightly used and my brother was required to get on for a used diesel pusher Class A he was going to buy. Good thing because the inspector found serval major things including metal is a couple of the oil samples. Protect yourself by having an independent surveyor do one.

I have a theory! They want to make sure they have secured your money. Then when you are trapped you have no choice but to go down a never ending rabbit hole until… well will you look at that Warrenty is out… sorry thanks for playing!!

Do you really think they are paying labor to do PDIs? Most industries with new machines don’t! Even though they are supposed to! RV industry is killing itself 🙄🙄🙄🙄! The only PDI most places are doing is! Probably Didn’t Inspect!

At an RV dealership each department gets a cut of the profit pie. The service department has anywhere from two to six hours in the budget for PDI. Any service work, post PDI, predelivery, has to be paid for out of someone's budget, internally.
