I really REALLY hope they don't stick to the "Battle Pass Character, Rift Character + 2 Fighter Currency Fighters" cuz what I liked about MultiVersus is that when they put out a character you could just get them with Gold and you didn't need to grind for them. Like you got several characters for free by just playing the game.

The way I see it, all live action characters adopts to the artstyle of dc animated series, Jason is supposed to be big and imposing so it translates to Bane type of body making him look more exaggerated than live action.

I think SJ is the 6k character currency character and another character is the BP character. Who that character will be is anyone’s guess but my best bet is the Power Puff Girls. There will also be a free or challenge locked character besides Beetlejuice imo

Honestly, I am so hyped for Jack! He was one of my most requested characters. I do think it's an odd choice to make him use only his sword since he's a master of all kinds of weapons, but he looks fun! Excited for the stream Monday to see what else they have planned for the season. Hoping for a rework for some of the systems and QoL updates. Excited to see the BP for this season!

I want currency rework honestly. I want them to add gold back (they most likely not) but still Gold and Gleamium should be the only currency (and prestige currency too) Perk currency to me is so useless. They was better off letting us unlock the perks through character progression honestly. But I’m still overall hyped for the reworks and Jack and especially Ranked

They might be added some time in the future, but the balloon is just a reference to the WB Water Tower stage. There are balloons for the Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain that appear on the stage as platforms. We're getting the stage added in season 2.

jack or beetlejuice will be the character you can flat out buy on release. joker was a buy on release character no battle pass no rifts. just 6k fighter points. which means we'll get that same option this season. hopefully its jack. if not it will be the random unannounced character they have yet to reveal. its obvious beetlejuice is unfortunately locked behind rifts

Agent smith is a matrix skin bruiser. He doesnt need to wear his matrix skin either. Also you can do all skin challenges in the rifts. Especially shark week challenges u can choose any class as a guest in rift.

@@ugmo0722 Eh. It's a reward for doing the rift mode. Early access to a character, handful of free skins. You don't really get much else from rifts other than the stuff from the rift event, so it's reasonable to give you something IMO. You don't want your single player mode to seem pointless and not give anything for putting time into it. Especially considering how much of a grind the mode is, without that reward I imagine many people might do the easy rifts to see the story and then not touch anything else.

I'm glad they didn't use the cartoon Beetlejuice design. The new model looks cooler. Also Rift mode sux, mine as well not even of added the character if it's earned through that unless they redesign it to be proper solo content that's actually enjoyable but they wont cuz overmonetization and overdosing your games with dailies is the plan for everything nowadays.
