Please keep Kuminga! Knowing whether any given trade of Kuminga is a good deal is impossible. We do know that he is one of the most entertaining players in the NBA with his incredible drives and dunks, second only to Curry on the Warrios (unless you like MMA style Draymond antics). Ultimately I watch the games to be entertained. Winning certainly helps make it more fun, but it not the most important thing to me as a spectator. I would much rather see him play when I watch a Warriors game rather than possibly, maybe having the Warriors win a few extra games over the course of a season. It's not like they are going to be able to trade him for someone who is such a game changer they are going to lead to another championship.

You want a hot take? I think the Warriors are done this offseason. As in done, they don't need to trade for Lauri Markennen. It's a bonus if they can but they'll likely lose Kuminga or spend 3-4 unprotected first picks to get him. There is no alternative, either give up the picks or package with Kuminga. A lot of Warriors fans are in la-la fantasy land thinking they can land Lauri without doing either of the things I listed. This is Ainge on the helm and he doesn't owe the Warriors anything. Lauri is their franchise player. They aren't going to give up their franchise player for the Warriors scraps. But as for my hot take, the Warriors dont need to add any more. They were the 10th seed with Dray missing 30 of those games, somewhere between 15-15, I think Dray would at least give +/- five to ten of those close games from his defensive effort. And this was with some of those games with Klay and Wiggs playing pathetic. If Wiggs can play decent and Dray doesn't get suspended this season I can see them making anywhere from the 3-6 seed. I always felt Kerr depended too much on Klay that he'd sub his hot guys out for Klay and Wiggs. I dont think he has to do that again this season. I think the Warriors are fine (IF and ONLY IF Curry is still the same player he was last year and Dray doesnt get suspended).

Steph will be 38 in two years and I am not letting Kuminga and draft capitol go for some guy that’s more like a number #3 option when I know in the future Kuminga will be better than him. Would trade Kuminga for Lauri in a heartbeat. 6’7, athletic swingmen are easy to find than a 7 footer who can shoot 3’s and rebound. If they have to include Podz and future firsts, then it’s worth it. Lauri is 27 years old and entering the prime of his career, while Kuminga has 3-5 more years before he reaches his potential. That’s if he ever does. Lauri is would probably be 29 or 30 if Steph retires and he would be a piece to build around.

Get rid of Wiggins: when he is good, he is great, but he is just not reliable in the short, medium and long run. Just can't depend on him in any given game - and he is important enough to cost the team a game or even a series. Glad to see Thompson go as well - he had become a surly, negative, not that good liability. A young player with great enthusiasm and a great attitude would be better, especially on defense.

I am a die-hard warriors fan and have been since transitioning from a Bulls Fans when i was in my late teens. Klay Thompson is one of my favorite players of all time and while it pains me to see him not finish his career there, on the other hand this is a business and it's about production and I don't want to see the final years of Steph Curry wasted because of him and an injury that of course wasn't his fault. So I actually agree with you 100%. That Chris Paul signing was one of the most bone-headed things that I've seen The warriors do in quite some time. He was never going to be a fit for that team because of his playstyle and his age. I definitely give up a few things to get L Markkanen. Moody is so damn unreliable and so is Wiggins. I personally would offer Wiggins, Moody, Podziemski and then put together a decent protected pic as well as some other late first and second round picks for the Utah jazz and see if you can get him with that. Danny Ainge is not going to give him up for anything mediocre.

Kuminga is basically Andrew Wiggins, but I wouldn't trade him yet. We had Markannan in Chicago he's a 3rd or 4th best player type of guy, not a good number 2 option. Jazz is gonna win the trade with whoever bites on this one.

Let’s says Jazz is willing to trade him now, how could Warrior secure him with regards to the Lauri’s contract condition? Something I am not sure how things could work. Does it mean GSW will go for a trade where they will have Lauri for 1 year and then they negotiate the contract next off-season? Or Warrior to agree on a contract with Lauri and get trade immediately. and then formally sign his extension on Aug 6th? What is the risk of him not signing? From what I have been reading, if Jazz is to re-sign him on Aug 6, they cannot be be trade until Feb 6, 2025 to be exact. And that day happens to be the final date (meaning THE ONLY DAY) that anyone can trade him. Otherwise it is next off-season.

If putting Kuminga is what it takes to acquire Lauri Markkanen than we need to trade JK. If the intent is to get Steph another championship ASAP, then the safe option is Lauri. He’s everything we need, he adds size and can get us easy buckets when the jump shots are not falling in. This will prevent the situations we had last season when other teams would go on runs and we couldn’t answer back because no one on the team could get close enough to the basket to get an easy layup. JK is great but we don’t know if he’ll be the kind of superstar that will help Steph get a championship next season or the season after that. Let’s be realistic, people are attached to Kuminga because he’s homegrown but the truth is that he’s still raw and has a lot to learn still. Lauri has experience and we know what to expect from him.

We need a big. Someone at least 7’ feet. The warriors are too small as currently constructed. They can’t compete with bigger teams no matter how much “shooting” they have. Trade Wiggins who is at best a “part time” player for Markanenn if possible. There are many other players on the roster not named Kuminga that we could also give up. It’s now or never for Steph to win another championship. Though recently his comments about Klay leaving and enjoying the game more I think is a reflection of himself. Curry doesn’t have the “I must win” mentality anymore. He just wants to go out and have fun. Win or lose.. he doesn’t seem driven anymore. .

TRADE JK. would trade Podz (as a Stockton ish player for Utah fan base ) and Kaminga. Wiggins to a 3rd team for picks to give to Utah. We would get Kessler and Laurie. Lineups play big (as league is getting bigger) w/ balance of defense: 1st - Curry - Buddy (like JP shot creator that needs more defensive lineup support) - Kyle - Dray (shooting upwards of 30% from 3) - Laurie (running klay pin downs and Durant ISO’s) 2nd - Melton - Lindy - Moody (runs offense if dray or Kyle isn’t in) - TJD (big lineup as a half court offense) - Kessler

Kerr should consider 7'ers 1st then GP2/if healthy, BP, JK, Moody if Ker use these players timely situationly he can really control the flow of the game with defense but gotta get the front court straight 1st. Protect the rim and defense rebounds to fast break with easy baskets! Over using Curry during the regular season is not recipe for a championship he will flame out in the playoffs

How can you say kuminga has been the 2nd or 3rd option for years when he just consistently got on the floor. A lot of moving the goalposts going on. Kuminga had to defer alot to Klay and Wiggins specifically so if those 2 are gone he's obviously going to be better. Also how can you say Jaylen was on a better team when kuminga was on a championship team year 1. He averaged 16 last year and year 3 Jaylen averaged 13 .all indicators point to He could be better than JB imo

Lauri is impossible to gsw, especially when we dont want to give up kuminga, but we definitely need a real center who can block. We should get another option instead of focusing on Markkannen. (This trade is nowhere to go if we keep kuminga) just Get try getting Myles turner Instead.

Trading youth like Kuminga and Moody is a deal breaker. If Dubs want Markkanen, then give up Wiggins and Looney. Then, sign Pat Beverly and wait for trade deadline to acquire when teams are in NEED. No Dub hating team will willingly give up winning players.

But Utah does not want Wiggins and his 3 year guranteed $78 million so that is mute. The trade scenario is GPII, Looney, and Moody plus 5 picks and swaps, where we only want to give three 1st rd picks. With last years very successful draft fresh in our minds, we truly value our picks, maybe too much, but none the less, no one wants to loose draft control for the better part of a decade. We are to good of a franchise to let Ainge fleece us. He got Lauri M. and 5 picks for Gobert. Getting Lauri M. in the trade did not lower his draft demands, neither will JK. Dreaming.

Why would they take Wiggins when the objective is to get young assets and picks .so they have a chance at the lottery. People you dont get to get another teams best player while keeping your young player thats why its called a trade Smh!!!
